Tiffany Doodles Sneak Peek- Daphne

Welcome to day two of Tiffany Doodles newest release sneak peaks!  Today I am sharing the Daphne Image.  This is a beautiful bloom and comes in many shades of vibrant colors!  I chose to do a white/pink mix.

This image will be available for sale on Friday Jan 28th and if you chose to get all three new releases you receive 10% off!

For my card today I used a little technique Betsy Veldman used in the newest Papercrafts Stamp-It! Techniques issue in the spray ink section.  I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to create my colored background along with text stamps and flourishes.

I printed my image onto white cardstock and colored it with R20, R22, R24 and Colorless Blender.  Along with YG25 and YG95 for my stem.  Distressed the edges and adhered it to Dark Chocolate cardstock that was die cut from a Lrg Scallop Oval Nestie.

I heat embossed my sentiment using Black opaque embossing powder so that it would pop off the page a little.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you are enjoying these as much as I am!  Tomorrow brings our last image, so stay tuned!

Lindsay

  1. This is lovely, Lindsay. You've made such a pretty background with the flourishes and spray ink. The twine adds such a nice finishing touch!

  2. Stunning Lindsay. I love that technique. That is another horribly neglected PTI set I own. I really love that TD digi image. So very pretty...looks like a Just Rite stamp. :)

  5. OMG...your shading of these flowers is nothing short of amazing! That technique gave the background a faded fuzzy look.....neat idea!
