Mother

Hey there!  I just wanted to start my post off by thanking all of you who stop by my lil' corner of the web and leave me such sweet comments!  I adore all of you so much and truly appreciate your kind words!  It's amazing how they make you feel, whether you're having a good or bad day, so THANK YOU!!!

So for today I have a card using the latest CardPatterns sketch.  I used some different colors here from BasicGrey's Curio Line.  Oh my do I love this paper, and the elements too!

I started with a Ripe Avocado card base and layered on the yellow patterned paper.  Cut two strips, border punched one and adhered them.  Tied on my favorite twine and heat embossed Mother in brown powder.

I took a Martha Stewart Doily Tag and inked the edges and popped it up in the middle, along with on of the element stickers.  Punched two medium circles and added a lovely flourish.  Different but in a good way, I say!

Well, I gotta run I am having my little niece over this morning and here I sit!  Have a great day my friend!  Thank you for stopping by!

P.S.
Just sneeking in a little picture of Haley.  She is such a cutie!

Hugs,
Lindsay
