Share Joy Challenge #30

Hello!

I am so glad that it is Thursday! Not only is the weekend well on its way, but the start of April's Share Joy Challenges are under way! Yeah! You know I am all about florals, so this weeks I couldn't resist using them on my card.

I started by using the sketch, but it morphed into the inspiration picture...so, I guess it's both? Whatever. I used the adorable Bloom Where You're Planted die set, and created a floral cluster in the coordinating colors onto a white card base, that I had masked and sponged with light blue ink.

I die cut the various flowers from Cupcake, Lollipop, Candy Corn, Potato Chip, Granny Smith, and Salt Water Taffy Card stocks. I sponged on a bit of ink in a coordinating color to the edges of each die cut, and adhered them with foam, and dry adhesives.

I stamped my sentiment, and added a few sequins, and seed beads. I realized I had stamped it in black when I feel it would have been better to do it in brown. Ever do that? Ah, well. It's still fun, and full of floral goodness!

I hope you'll join us! The graphic and rules are below! See you at the challenge blog!

Memory Box March Challenge

Hello, and Happy March!

I just wanted to stop by, and share my card for the March challenge on the Memory Box blog. For March, we are bringing out Flowers and/or Bunnies! I chose Florals, because, well, because! HAHA!

I chose the lovely Sketch Daisy die to use on my card. I started with a panel of watercolor paper, and created a spring colored wash of watercolors onto it. After it was dry, I die cut the flowers, along with card stock, and inlaid those colors back in, along with the white frame.

I adhered some green patterned paper to my card base, and attached the panel with foam, finishing it off with clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you have some time, stop over to play along with us, we would love to see what you create with Memory Box dies!
