Monster Happy Anniversary

Hi!  I have another fun Paper Smooches card using a really cool technique that Teri Anderson used the other day with this same stamp.  So so clever I tell ya!  Using the back of a large clear stamp, I stamped my monster carefully onto it and then stamped it onto my paper.  Easy and super fun!

Using some patterned paper from Basic Grey's Life of the Party I paper-pieced my monsters onto the front and adhered it to a brown card base.

Hightlighted the monster's horns and teeth and stamped some hearts.  Added some eyelashes to my lady monster and using a pen, I grounded them.

Lastly, I tied some Pure Poppy grosgrain ribbon into a bow and added a little tag with my Anniversary sentiment!

Super easy and fun!  I just love these stamps!

  5. Ha! Sooo stinkin' cute, Lindsay! I love that mirror image technique--I'd never heard of it but it makes perfect sense when you need a pair like on an anniversary card. The big 'ole red bow with the red hearts on the monsters is just the best touch!
