With Gratitude

Hey friends!

Are you in prep mode for Thanksgiving Day?  I am in full on panic mode, lol!  I have a little card for the occasion, using some fun Paper Smooches, and Lawn Fawn products.

I used a lovely sentiment from Paper Smooches, Chit Chat set and some other goodies from the IHP store, such as those lovely sequins.

I die cut the Hickory leaf die from Lawn Fawn's Into The Wood paper pad, as well as paper pieced the cutie little acorn from the Into The Woods stamp set.  To finish it off, I rounded all of the corners and added some sequins!

By the way, IHP is celebrating Black Friday and Cyber Monday with a 20% off store-wide coupon (in stock items only and not valid on gift certificates) on all orders $50 or more, valid through 12/2, Cyber Monday. Use coupon code Black20DT13 at checkout. All orders will ship on Tuesday December 3. Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!

CFC121 Create With 8

Hey, and happy Friday!

Today, we have a super fun challenge at Cas-ual Fridays...Thankful and Hanukkah both have 8 letters, and Hanukkah has 8 nights too.  Since both holidays start during this challenge, we'll honor 8.  Use 8 letters or 8 sequins or 8 colors, etc 8 of anything on your CAS project.  Sounds fun, right?

For this card, I broke out the Studio Calico kit paper pads and created a pastel rainbow of eight pattern papers.  I die cut the Hi out and added friend in black ink.

I took wood veneer stars, and covered them with black stars I got in last months SC kit.

I hope you play along this week, we can't wait to see your creations!

You & Me

Hey all!

How is your week going so far?  Great, I hope!  I have a little card to share using some fun products and techniques.

For this card, I used a Polka Dot stencil from Heidi Swapp, and a sponge dauber with HA Raspberry Jam ink to apply it to a white panel.

I took the large ampersand, and the You and Me and white heat embossed it onto a piece of black cardstock.  I then, stamped the same stamp layout in black, onto the white panel, popping up the die cut black circle piece.  To finish it off, I added a few black sequins!

Well, that is all I have today, thanks so much for stopping by!

CFC120 Curtain Call Combo

Hey there friends!

Today, I am back with another CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  This week we are getting inspired by this pic from the Curtain Call blog:

I was inspired by the lovely blue and white, along with the pops of glam from the ornaments.  I did a bunch of heat embossing, using the CAS-UAL Fridays set, Christmas Carols.  I then matted the blue panel onto a white card base.

I hope you play along with us this week, we would love to see how you were inspired!  You can link up either at the CAS-ual Friday blog, or Curtain Call!

ric#47 - Alberta Ferretti

Hi crafty friends!

It is becoming increasingly hard to keep warm in my neck of the woods.  Besides being cold, I managed to come down with sinus congestion and a super sore throat!  BAH!  Ah, well...rest and relaxation right?  Someone tell that to my kids, haha!  Anyway, I am here to share a super clean and simple card using the latest challenge from Runway Inspired.

I loved the bold colors of her dress, and of course the florals on the top portion were inspiring.  I chose to focus on the colors.  Taking Wplus9's, Strictly Sentiments 3 set, I stamped and heat embossed Peace & Love in black.

I then took the colors from her dress, and added some Divine Twine,  along with Black Dots from Doodlebug.  You can find all of these things in the i {heart} papers store.

Here is a look at the inspirational pic:

Thanks so much for popping by!  I will be back tomorrow with something really special, you don't want to miss it!

Hi, Hello!

Hey friends!

So, I purchased this clear case for my phone, and thought it was high time to decorate the back.  It really needs to be shared, because fall is quickly passing by, and soon, I will have to redo it for winter!  I got the idea from my dear crafty friend, Katie, who decorated hers, and she shared the process in a blog post, here.  So, I used some fun patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Into The Woods 6x6 paper pad, as well as the Into The Woods stamp set.  It makes me smile every time I use it.

I trimmed my patterned paper down, and rounded the corners, so that it fit into my case, adhering the strips from the same paper pad.  I chose one of the strips that said "hi" and "hello" for obvious reasons!

The adorable little fox was stamped on patterned paper, and cut out, and I added white gel pen to the tail and face.  Ain't he cute?!

You can find these products in the i {heart} papers store, along with some new stampy goodness from Paper Smooches.  :0) Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great one.

CFC119: Embossing

Happy Friday peeps!

I have a new challenge card to share with you, for CAS-ual Fridays!  This week is a challenge near and dear to my crafty heart, embossing!  Dry embossing or heat embossing, I love them both.

I decided I wasn't ready for the fall colors and all that, so I went quite spring-y here!

Taking a green notecard, I stamped the branch image from Avery Elle's Laurels set, in Versamark, and heat embossing it in white.  I then stamped my sentiment, from that set, again in Versamark, but heat embossed it in gold powder.

I then took the Laurels bow die, die cut it, and stamped it with the coordinating image.  I adhered it over a bunch of flowers, die cut and stamped from Wplus9's Fresh Cut Florals set.  To finish it off, I added a few rhinestones to the flowers centers.  I see a renegade rhinestone decided to abandon ship right before it was photographed, seriously.  HAHA!

Have a great day my friends!
