Butterfly Celebrate

Hey there!  I am just popping in to share a little card I made using The Play Date Cafe's latest challenge: Color Splash and announce my giveaway winner!  I have never joined in on the fun over at TPDC and figured this challenge would be the perfect opportunity to get a little inky.

To start, I took a white card stock panel and ran it through my Big Shot using the Herringbone Embossing Folder.  I adhered that to a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 white card base.

Next, I die cut a square of black card stock and adhered it to my card.  I then stamped my butterflies onto a vellum square and colored them from behind using an orange and gold copic marker, stamped my sentiment and then matted it onto white card stock.  Lastly, I adhered a few rhinestones.

I hope you had a relaxing weekend!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow for my latest entry for Gallery Idol!  It's getting down to the wire friends!  I need your help to make it to the top 5!  Voting starts at 12 noon mountain time on the Paper Crafts website.  Thank you so much for your support, I couldn't have gotten this far without you...which brings me to my next order of business, my giveaway!  I am all for Random.org and all but, I thought I would do it the good ol' fashion way.  :0)

Wrote all the numbers on a piece of paper and cut them out.

I had my trusty three year old assistant draw out a number from the bowl which was:
