Share Joy Challenge #27

Hello friends!

I am stopping by today to share this week's Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge! I played with the sketch, one that has so many possibilities!

I used the Light As A Feather mini set, and die combo to create a gold, and pink card. I first took a piece of pink chevron patterned paper, and adhered it to a card base. I then took a white panel, die cut an oval from it, and spritzed some pink in onto it. I then wrapped some twine around the top, and adhered it to the card base. I chose one of the sentiments from the set, and stamped it in black ink onto the front.

I stamped my feathers in Versamark ink, and heat embossed them with gold powder, die cutting them, and adhering them in a cluster onto the card.

Share Joy Challenge #26

Hello, hello!

Today is a new Share Joy Challenge, and I bring you my card using the sketch. I thought the Easter egg basket was lovely, but was inspired by the sketch to break out these adorable fishies from the Oceans of Fun stamp set.

I started by die cutting my panel of card stock with the Medium Scallop die. I then used some Distress Inks to blend in a few blue hues to create my "waves." I also flicked on a bit of white paint for some interest. Once that was dry, I adhered the panel and the waves to a piece of copy paper, and ran a circle die through. I then reinserted it, and stamped my sentiment, popping up the whole panel onto fun foam, and a white card base.

I stamped the fish, and colored them in with Copic Markers, die cut them out, and adhered them around the circle!

I hope you take on the challenge! It is always fabulous to see your lovely cards in the gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

Share Joy Challenge #25

Hey there!

This weeks Share Joy Challenge has a really Spring-like color combination, that I thought I would try.

I chose the adorable Balloon Buddies set, and coordinating dies, to create a little scene. I started by masking a portion of a white card base, and inking it with a couple of shades of Blue Distress Inks. I then flicked on some white paint, and allowed it to dry.

I die cut a circle from a piece of light blue card stock, and tied a bit of twine around the top, popping the whole piece up on the card front. I adhered my stamped, colored, and die cut dog, as well as a cluster of balloons, and a little black thread bow.

I hope to see what you do with this weeks challenge! There are so many possibilities! Just in case you aren't familiar with the details, I have added them below. Have a great day!

Memory Box March Challenge

Hello, and Happy March!

I just wanted to stop by, and share my card for the March challenge on the Memory Box blog. For March, we are bringing out Flowers and/or Bunnies! I chose Florals, because, well, because! HAHA!

I chose the lovely Sketch Daisy die to use on my card. I started with a panel of watercolor paper, and created a spring colored wash of watercolors onto it. After it was dry, I die cut the flowers, along with card stock, and inlaid those colors back in, along with the white frame.

I adhered some green patterned paper to my card base, and attached the panel with foam, finishing it off with clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you have some time, stop over to play along with us, we would love to see what you create with Memory Box dies!

Share Joy Challenge #24

Hello!

I am bringing you the newest Share Joy Challenge for Taylored Expressions! I chose to use the sketch and the Clean and Simple. I liked the extra challenge, and using the Simply Succulents and matching die set, I came up with this..

I started with a panel, and ink blended in some light pink, I then stamped one of the smaller images, and colored it with Copic Markers. After I cut it out with the coordinating die, I adhered it with a bit of foam, and stamped my sentiment below it.

I then tied twine around the top portion, and after adhering a bit of dotted pattered paper to the card base, attached the panel with a piece of fun foam.

Here is the graphic so you can see what I worked with. I sure hope you play along! I can't wait to see what you make! Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a great one.

Share Joy Challenge #23

 Hello!

I have the newest Taylored Expressions, Share Joy Challenge to share with you today, and it is one of my favorites! I chose to do the Tic-Tac-Toe board, instead of the sketch.

Using a piece of watercolor paper, I created a wash of color using a few Distress Inks. After it dried, I then ran it through my Big Shot using a mat, and the Elegant Butterflies Die set. I took a random tag die, and cut it from the center, along with four layers of black card stock. I adhered those together, and reinserted it into the panel.

I adhered the panel to a white card base, and added a white heat embossed sentiment from the If Cats Could Talk stamp set, onto black card stock. I finished it off with a few black sequins. The graphic is below, and I do hope you are able to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Share Joy Challenge #22

Hello!

Today is a new Share Joy Challenge! I went super clean and simple here, using the sketch, as well as the adorable Happy Hens stamp set, and matching dies.

I started by adding green ink to a white card base, and die cutting a circle from a panel of white card stock. Before adhering the panel, I stamped my sentiment, and then wrapped some twine around the panel, and adhered it to the card base with foam.

I stamped the hens in Antique Linen Distress Ink, and colored them in with Copic Markers. I still have quite a bit of practicing to do with no line coloring, but it was fun, and I really like the effect. I die cut them out, and popped them up within the circle.

I hope you can play along with us, we'd love to see what you create!

Have a great day!

Share Joy Challenge #21

Hello my friends!

Thanks for stopping by today! It is a new Share Joy Challenge, and I can't wait to show you my card!

I chose the sketch, and worked it into a shaker! I haven't done one in awhile, so it was time. I started by stamping, and die cutting the Mason Jar set from white card stock. I placed it over my white card stock, and made marks onto a panel, where I would do ink blending. After I masked off the area, I added a rainbow of pinks, and spritzed a bit around the area, before forming the shaker.

I added foam tape all around the jar die cut, poured a lovely TE assortment of sequins, called Sweetheart Mix, into the colored area, and adhered the jar. I layered that panel onto some pink glitter paper, and stripes. I stamped a sentiment from the Much Love set, onto black card stock, using Versamark. I then heat embossed it, and trimmed it out. I also stamped the balloons from Love Is An Adventure, and colored them with Copic Markers.

Here is a look at the graphic, and if you chose to play along, you can pick the sketch OR the lovely color combination. I hope you play along!

Have a great day!!

AEIHeartU Challenge #33

Hello!

How was your weekend? Did you get any crafty time in? I hope so! We had such nice weather on Saturday, I had to spend it outside. We also built a chicken coop, and got our sweet birds settled in. Yes, you could call me a crazy chicken lady, lol! I will share a pic soon!

So, you didn't come here to read about my chicken fun, how about this challenge from Avery Elle?!

So, how about that card?

I used the fun, Tea Time set, masked, and stamped, as well as colored, three of the cups with Copic Markers. I trimmed them all out, and set them aside, while I worked on the watercolor piece. I took a few different Distress Inks, and created a was onto a piece of Watercolor paper. I then die cut it out using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments.

I inlaid the piece into the paper that I die cut it out of originally, and adhered it to a white card base. I stamped my sentiment from the set, and adhered my cup stack to the card using foam.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you might have a chance to join us for our last challenge, we would love for you to create something! Have a great day!
