A Winner and A Clean and Simple Card!

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by!

I have the winner of my giveaway, and it is Christi! I have emailed you! Thank you so much to everyone that left such kind comments! I appreciated every one of them.

I know you would probably love to see a card while you are here, so a card you shall see! This week, Memory Box's Spring 2016 Release is now available at retailers. I will have a couple of projects up on the Outside the Box blog, featuring some really fun dies, at the end of the week, so be sure to stop over there Friday!

I used the lovely Colette Butterfly Branch die for this very Clean and Simple card. I began by die cutting it from plain white paper, and sponging on yellow ink. I removed the negative portion, and simply adhered the positive die cut over the color.

Super simple, and the color possibilities are endless! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Avery Elle I {Heart} U Challenge!

Looking for the Season's Giving Blog Hop? Scroll down, or click HERE

Hey there!

I am back again today, to share this months AEIHeartU challenge for January! Luckily we have dodged the white stuff here in Northeastern Ohio for a while now, but I am sure it will fall any day. Which brings me to this month's theme of Winter. Do you like snow? I would love to know!

I wanted to create a serene white scene, so I pulled out an oldie but goodie, Let It Snow.

I started with a white card base, and stamped the Birch tree image in a light gray ink. I then masked the trees, and laid down a mask I cut to look like a hill. I sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress ink twice, and then added white embossed snowflakes.

I stamped one of the cardinals onto white card stock, using Antique Linen Distress Ink, and colored it in with Copic Markers. I then trimmed it out, and adhered it using foam tape.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment using Smokey Gray Versafine ink, and adhered a few rhinestones.

Thanks for joining me today! I can't wait to see what you create. I hope you have a great one!

Seasons Giving Blog Hop

Hello, and Happy New Year!

I am super excited to be among the bloggers participating in this years Seasons Givings Blog Hop! It is a fabulous hop, where we thank YOU, our dear blog readers, with fabulous prizes and lovely card making eye candy! Did I mention fabulous prizes, at every blog?!

Over the years of blogging my projects, I have realized many times, how much all of you mean to me. You are encouraging, and kind, and I just appreciate you all so much! The paper crafting community is a wonderfully, caring group, and I am thankful to be a part of it. It is hard for me to believe that I have been blogging my cards for six years, this month. I plan on having another giveaway in a couple of weeks for that very reason, so watch out for that, wink!

For my giveaway, I have two stamp sets from Jane's Doodles, as well as a stamp and die set from MFT, and a large floral stamp set from Winnie & Walter! Also, the latest Memory Box Spring release is in a few days, and I snuck in a couple of their fabulous dies! I obviously can't show them, but they will be included! Everything is new, and never used, and I know you will love them!

All you have to do is leave me a comment. Any comment will do! I will pick by Random.org, and notify the winner via email (so make sure your email is connected to your name). You have until Monday January 4th, 11:59pm EST. Sadly, I can not ship international at this time, so US residents are the only ones eligible for the prize. Good luck!

Now, how about a card? I can't leave you without some card goodness, now can I? :0)

Using some fabulous MFT products, I started by die cutting the sweet mugs from the Hot Cocoa Cups from watercolor paper. I blended in some different shades of purple Distress Inks, and then splattered them with water. Once they dried, I added the white heat embossed snowflake, as well as the "hot chocolate," and the steam. I set them aside, and worked on the card.

I die cut the center of my panel using the Wonky Windows Die, and proceeded to add Distress Ink to the card base. I then stamped a sentiment from the Hug In A Mug set, and popped the panel up with foam tape. As a last little accent, I added some Kisses from a discontinued die set.

Before you leave, check out the other places you can find me, in the right side bar! I love to hang out on Instagram, Pinterest, and Flickr, as well as YouTube, and Twitter!

Your next stop is the lovely Laura Williams, so be sure to see what she has for you! If you need it, here is a complete list of participants! Enjoy!

Share Joy Challenge #16

Hello!

Can you believe it is New Year's Eve day?! I am sooo ready for 2016, and what it may bring. This year was quite the challenge for me personally, and I am anxious for a new start. So, let's see what the last Taylored Expressions challenge of this year, brings.

I chose to work with the sketch this time, and flipped it upside down. I took a piece of yellow card stock, and stamped the adorable arrow from the Much Love mini set, using Versamark ink. I then stamped, and colored the tree, and bench, using Copic Markers. I trimmed those out and adhered them on top of the yellow piece.

To finish, I added a white heat embossed sentiment on vellum, tucked under the images. I also added a generous amount of Wink of Stella to the hearts!

The graphic is below, and I sure hope to see you play along! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, dear blog friends!

I hope that you are able to celebrate this day with your loved ones. I wanted to share the last card for Christmas with you, using a couple of My Favorite Things products.

I started with the fun Snow Drifts Cover-up die, and cut it from a few colorful card stocks. I then reinserted the pieces in a white negative piece, and adhered the panel to a card base, using a piece of fun foam.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed a lovely greeting from the Hand Lettered Holiday set, onto black card stock. After trimming it down, adhered it over a bit of black thread, using foam tape. To finish it off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful Christmas Day!

Share Joy Challenge #15

Hi there!

These weeks sure go fast, don't they? Here we are, time for another Share Joy Challenge. Below you will find the challenge graphic, and I picked the sketch. How cute is this little cat? Love it!

I started with a white square that I had die cut from a die, and I added a bit of Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink using a foam applicator. I then took the If Cats Could Talk stamp set, and die, and stamped those out, trimming the fish bubble with detail scissors. Using my Copic Markers, I shaded them, and adhered them to my square with foam tape.

I added a bit of patterned paper to a white card base, and popped up my focal point with foam tape. So there you go! I hope you decide to play along with us this week! I can't wait to see what you make!
