Share Joy Challenge #7

 Hello!

This week is flying by for me! It is amazing that another week has passed, and it is time for another Share Joy Challenge! I always love Tic Tac Toe, so I chose the first row for my card.

Pumpkins were a given with the adorable Peek-A-Boo pumpkin set, and matching dies. We all know I love watercoloring, and well, die cuts make the process a whole lot easier!

I started with a panel of watercolor paper, and applied Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Mowed Lawn with blending tool. Seriously, watercolor paper makes applying distress inks a breeze! After I that I flicked water over the panel to get the fun splotchy look, and adhered a strip of striped patterned paper to the side.

I die cut a few pumpkins out of the watercolor paper, and applied watercolor in a very loose artsy way. I allowed it to dry, and applied another coat. Once those were dry, I adhered them to my panel with various dimensions of foam tape. To finish it off, I stamped my simple sentiment next to them.

I hope you play along, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Virginia's View Challenge #19

Hello!

I am popping in today, to share a card I made this weekend, for the newest Virginia's View Challenge blog. It is all about Coloring, and I couldn't resist using my Copics for this one!

I used a new die and stamp set from MFT's latest release, and oh my, do I love those little elves! They are so cute!

To start, I stamped and colored my little elf, and trimmed him out using detail scissors. I did the same with the two other gift images. I then die cut the Diagonal Stitched Cover-Up companion die, and stamped a sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday set. Before I attached it to a Kraft notecard with foam, I stamped the snowflake image repeatedly in white pigment ink.

I placed my sweet little elf, and gifts onto the card, and added a little bit of Glossy Accents to his buttons, as well as the bell on his hat.

One Christmas card down, a million to go! Oh my! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Share Joy Challenge #6

Hello!

It has been another busy week on the blog! I am here to share the newest Share Joy Challenge for this week!

With Halloween right around the corner, you may chose to make something inspired by this adorable candy jar, or you can use the sketch, or even both! I chose the sketch, and paired them with a few lovely stamp sets!

I started with a trimmed down panel, and cut a circle out of the center with a die. I then ran it through my Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I love the texture! I lightly traced the circle onto my card base, and blended in light and dark purples. Moving on to my flower, I stamped the lovely sunflower from the Simply Stamped - Sunflower set, and then die cut it out with the coordinating dies.

I set the bloom aside, and created a sentiment strip on vellum, using the Free Spirit set, and white embossing powder. I then adhered all of my elements down, and added a few frosted gems.

Thank you for stopping by today! For some reason InLinkz doesn't want to work with TE stamps and dies, so I have linked to them in my post if you need it.

I hope you play along! I look forward to seeing what you make!
