Hey, hey!
Well friends, I finally got this post up, YEAH! I had planned to do this post three days ago, lol! So, I have been playing with the Avery Elle Bring On the Cake stamp set, again, and had to share what I came up with.
I started with a white panel, and brought in Ripe Persimmon, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks, and then die cut a cute border using the Stitched Borders 3 die set from Pretty Pink Posh.
I stamped my cake twice, colored the base, and the top of the other was glittered up to look like sparkly frosting. You can watch the video to see how I made the frosting!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Hey Cupcake, Make A Wish
Hello!
This stamp set from Avery Elle is just too cute. I can't stop using it! I had to stamp out the cute cupcakes for this card today, and color them up, rainbow style!
I started with a white panel, stamping, and masking the five cupcakes across the lower half of it. I then colored them with Copic Markers, and trimmed along the bottom of the cupcakes, and stamped my sentiment.
I popped up the panel on a black cardbase, and adhered a few black pearls to accent the sentiment. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the frosting to spice it up a bit.
Thanks for checking it out, and were inspired! Have a great day!

You Are An Amazing Dad
Hello, hello!
I have a bright and fun Father's Day card to share with you, using Distress Inks, and Avery Elle! I always love seeing what sentiments I can make using sets like these, and by splitting one of them up, I was able to piece together the perfect sentiment for my husband's card. There is even a video showing you how I made it. Yeah!
I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock, and, masking off my strips, applied Distress Inks in Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Faded Jeans, with a foam applicator.
I die cut Avery Elle's, Amazing die from the panel, and added the rest of the sentiment from the Simply Said Amazing mini stamp set in Onyx Black ink. To finish it, I adhered a panel of foam to the back, and placed it onto a light yellow card base, and added a few black enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have an Amazing day!

Make A Wish
Hello there!
I thought I would pop in with a fun birthday card, as a little encouragement to play along with this months AEIHeartU Challenge! Using a rainbow scheme on a card can be a fun way to play up an image, or even a background for one. I decided to make it the focal point of my card.
I started with a trimmed down panel, and stamped the fun plate of cake onto it, from the Bring On the Cake set. I then masked it off, and added Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers Distress inks. After removing the mask, I added the piece of cake, which I had stamped onto a separate piece of paper, colored with pencils, and cut out.
I stamped my sentiment, and popped up the panel onto a card base, to which I had adhered a piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 Everyday Collection paper pad. I then added a few sequins, and called it good! I wish I had a video to share with you, but time escaped me this week. Hopefully there will be another up soon! Thanks for stopping by.

Hello!
I am bringing you the latest Runway Inspired Challenge, and you're gonna love it! I had fun with this one, using the colors, and patterns on the models dress. Hang on till the very end, there is a video of how I made the panel.
I started by taking a white panel, and masking off my strips, and blending in Milled Lavender, Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, and Peacock Feathers. I then stamped the outline floral images from the Striped Florals stamp set by Altenew, using Onyx Black.
I popped up the panel onto a white card base, and added a heat embossed sentiment from Label Love, also from Altenew. Lastly, I placed a few black pearls onto the front.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day.

Miss You Floral Card
Hello!
It is so Monday, but I am hoping to make it brighter with this floral card, using the MFT Sketch Challenge as a jumping off point.
I started by heat embossing my sentiment onto a piece of Woodgrain Paper, popping it up onto a Kraft card base, using fun foam. I then adhered a strip of glitter paper and vellum to the panel, as the sketch suggests.

Thank You - A Father's Day Card
Hello!
I had some time to make a card for my dad for Father's Day coming up. These things always sneak up on me, so I thought I would get ahead, ha! I know I just played along with Virginia's Challenge, to create and Ombre or Monochromatic card, but I wanted to play along again.
I focused on the ombre night sky, using three blue Distress Inks, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Chipped Sapphire. I made sure to mask off the sides, so that the edges were crisp. Using Mama Elephant's Bear Hugs stamp set, I white heat embossed a tiny star from the set onto the card front.
I then stamped the set of bears, coloring them in with Copic Markers, and trimming it out, before adhering it, along with the grass die cut, and moon, to the card front. My sentiment was heat embossed onto the card using White embossing powder from Hero Arts.
You can check out how I created it in the video above! Thanks so much for stopping by!

You Make Me Smile
Click HERE or scroll down for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
I have a card to share with you today, inspired by the latest Virginia's View Challenge, to use ombre or monochromatic, as well as Paulina's Watercolor Blog Hop over at Pretty Pink Posh. Both challenges are inspiring, and go well together! I love this type of media, it lends so much artistic freedom.
I used Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock, and the Highline Ironwork background stamp from Hero Arts and Basic Gray to emboss a resist onto the panel. I added Picked Raspberries, Squeezed Lemonade, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks to create a blended rainbow of color.
I adhered the panel to a white card base, and added the Simon Says Stamp Smile Circle die cut that I layered and adhered to a black cardstock circle. I also adhered a strip of vellum heat embossed with my greeting from the Happy and Smile stamp set, over a wad of black thread. I finished it with some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!
I even created a little video showing how I made the panel. I previously shared a picture of my new video set up on instagram, and FB, and hope to make more videos soon. You can check out the stand I use, here!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend.

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
Hello!
I am so glad you stopped by today. I am linking up to the fabulous Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, Summer edition! I have sadly given up coffee, but I am an extreme tea drinker now. I must have a hot beverage to start my day. And, though I miss my coffee dearly, tea is the next best.
I used the adorable Tea Time stamp set from Avery Elle. I started with a piece of patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad from Pink Paislee, heat embossing the cup in a random pattern and then heat embossing it with white powder. I adhered that to a Kraft card base.
I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock, and colored it in with an R85 Copic Marker, and adhered it to the card base. I then stamped, colored and cut out one of the cups, popped it up and added a little tea bag. As a last touch, I applied Glossy Accents to the cup, giving it a lovely shine!
Thanks so much for stopping! Enjoy the rest of the hop!

With You - MFT Card Sketch Challenge #231
Hello again!
This week has been a great card making week. I have such a hard time actually making the time to sit down and create, but when I do, I am so happy. MFT's card challenge also make me happy, and I used the latest sketch for my card today.
Stop the boat! I can't get enough of Torico, aka, Birdie Brown's A-dorable stamps. This one, called Every Day Is A Picnic is just that. So, I colored her up with Copic Markers, and after showing everyone in my house, set her aside to work on the card.
I began my taking a few small stamps from the Modern Blooms set, and stamped those onto a Kraft panel. I then adhered the panel to a Kraft card, and added a stitched square, center cut out, popped up with foam. I added my girl, along with some of the flowers, and her picnic basket.
I stamped the sentiment onto a white cardstock strip, and adhered it behind her. Isn't she CUTE?! I love it.
Okay, that is all for me, thanks sooo much for stopping by!

You Are So Sweet - MFT Color Challenge #22
Hello crafty friends!
I had some time last night, thanks to my fabulous husband for taking the kiddos, and played along with the MFT color challenge.
I first have to apologize for the crazy shadows on this card! I was desperate to share it this morning, and tried my best to get a good photo. Morning light is just not the best!
I stamped the boot from the You Gnome Me stamp set, colored it in with Copic Markers, and trimmed it out. I then tucked it into my window. I added a tiny sentiment from the Donuts and Sprinkles stamp set, and tucked it next to the boot. I finished it by adding rhinestones to the centers of the flowers, and a thin black cardstock strip at the base of the card.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope you were inspired.

Hey, hey!
I have the latest Runway Inspired Challenge today, and it's full of inspiration! Let's see what I did, shall we?
There are quite a few avenues to take with this, but I used the colors. Oh, and some bling, because you can never have too much sparkle! Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is the awesome, Winnie & Walter! I love there stamps, including this fantastic set, called In Bloom: Addie's Garden, which I used today.
To start, I took a white panel, and did a bit of masking, creating a large cluster of flowers, and leaves. It was slightly tedious, but hey, it beats housework hands down!
I then took the Scenery: Big Bang Confetti set, and white heat embossed the solid circle images. I brought in a bit of Milled Lavender Distress Ink, and then began coloring my flowers.
I used quite a few Distress Ink colors, including Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistacio, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Mermaid Lagoon. After I colored the images, and allowed it to dry, I ran it through my die cut machine with a rectangle die. I also die cut a rectangle from a black card base, and inlaid the panel.
I grabbed The Big, the Bold, and the Happy, and heat embossed the large happy onto vellum using Onyx Black Versafine, and clear powder. I added anniversary below, and finished it with clear rhinestones.
There is a generous prize being offered by Winnie & Walter to the winner of this challenge, so what do you say? Give it a go! We can't wait to see what you make.

AEIHeartU #25 Rainbows
Hello, hello!
I am back today with the latest Avery Elle Challenge! The months just fly by it seems, because I swear I just posted a challenge. This month it is all about rainbows, and who doesn't love a rainbow?
I did some ink blending with a rainbow of colors onto a white card panel. I ran it through my die cut machine using the Dotted Borders curved die to split the panel in two, popping them up onto the card front, and leaving a space.
I stamped my sentiment from the Tea Time stamp set along the bottom of one of the panels, and added two cups, which were colored with Copic Markers.
I hope you play along! I can't wait to see what you make! As always, there is a generous prize offered up.
