The Craft's Meow Release Preview Day 4

Please scroll down or click here for my RC/Bazzill post!

Hey there!  Today is the last day of previews for the July stamp release for The Craft's Meow!  Today's set is another cutie designed by our newest illustrator, Mabelle Ramirez-Ortiz, called Summertime with Fibi and Lilly (which is the gift with a $50 purchase).

To start, I chose the cute little cat paw and a sentiment.  With a simple color scheme, I focused on the sentiment and accented it with the paw, that I stamped off once.

I matted the cream panel onto light brown cardstock and again onto a dark brown card base.

Ribbon Carousel Meets Bazzill

Hey there!  I am so glad you wandered my way.  Today, some of the ladies from The Ribbon Carousel crew are teaming up with Bazzill to show you their amazing new card stock.  I have been using it for a little while now, and well, I am in love!  The colors are vibrant and the weight is just right.  I love this stuff!

So for today, it being National Lollipop Day and all, we (the RC crew) have created some crafty eye candy with that theme in mind using this awesome paper.

When it comes to Lollipops, I always think of a swirl of rainbow colors, I don't know why that is but that is where it lead my project.  So, for my card, I started with a Marshmallow base, and added strips of Cotton Candy, Wax Lips, Circus Peanuts, Banana Split, Juicy Pear, Whirlypop and Gummy Bear.

I added a bit of box pleat ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel store and stamped my sentiment.  I then die cut out a little heart and rounded the corner.

The Craft's Meow Release Preview Day 2

Hello!  I am back today with more samples of two fabulous stamp sets being released on the 21st at The Craft's Meow!  The first set, Sweet Taste of Summer, is by our newest illustrator, Mabel Ramirez-Ortiz.   These images are just the cutest.

I worked my simple card around one itty bitty stamp in the set, the cutie little flower.  Stamping it multiple times in a circle, I then colored the flowers with Copic Markers.

I then stamped the "hello" in the center, and accented the flowers with a white gel pen.

The second set today, is called One Scoop or Two by the adorable Amy Wanford.

To start, I stamped the three solid scoops in melon, pink and gold onto a white panel.  I then added the cones.  I stamped one of the sentiments down the side, added a bit of twine from The Ribbon Carousel Store and adhered it with foam to a Bazzill cardstock base.

I hope you've enjoyed today's previews, be sure to leave a comment on The Craft's Meow's Blog for a chance to win on of the sets featured today!  Have a great day!

God Bless America

Hello!  I am so glad you could join me today.  The Ribbon Carousel has a great challenge this week, to make a project featuring the Red/White and Blue!  Here is my card.

To start, I used Bazzill's Waxed Lips, Whirlypop and Marshmallow cardstocks for my simple project.

I die cut stars out of my panel and layered them up, adding a sentiment from Skipping Stones Home of the Brave set.  I then added a bit of star ribbon that came in the June Ribbon Kit from the Ribbon Carousel shop along with a twine threaded button.  The inspiration for my card came from the latest Country Living magazine, the front cover in fact, here is a look at it.  I was inspired by one of the pillows.

I hope you play along with us, there is always a great prize involved.  Have a wonderful 4th of July American friends, we are blessed indeed!

The Craft's Meow Release Previews- Oh Deer & Summer Fun

Hi!  I am back again with the two final sets available tomorrow from The Craft's Meow!  The first set is designed my none other than our very own Amy Wanford, called Oh Deer.  It is adorable!  The second, by Kaitlyn Ord is a summer delight, offering images perfect for summer invitations to parties and cookouts.

For Amy's set, I used a white panel, trimmed down, and paper pieced the cute little deer with some woodgrain patterned paper.  I then stamped the stump and grass, along with the butterflies.  I then colored these in with Copic Markers.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment across the front and adhered the panel to a white card base with foam adhesive.

For Kaitlyn's set, I started with a white card base and using Tumbled Glass distress ink and some cloud die cuts from printer paper, created a sky background.

I then took some green cardstock from Bazzill and created some layered grass, to which I added a stamped and cut out image of the grill.  I then tied some twine around the top and stamped BBQ in yellow.

Since this is an invite to summer fun, I couldn't forget the inside!  I stamped the You're Invited in black ink and then shadow stamped the grill again, also in black.

I hope you have enjoyed today's set previews!  Be sure to stop by the TCM blog and leave a comment for a chance to win one of these sets!  I will see you tomorrow for the blog hop!  Have a great day!

The Craft's Meow Release Preview- Lovely Labels

Hello and welcome!  Today is day three of the previews for the stamp sets being released from The Craft's Meow for the month of June.  You can check out the deets here, at The Craft's Meow's Blog.  Today's set is illustrated by a talented new member of The Craft's Meow family, Elizabeta Kushner and is called Lovely Labels 14!  You guessed it, it matches up with Spellbinder's Labels 14 dies!

This set is a larger set (6x8) and comes with many great images.  I chose to use some of the flowers and one of the great sentiments for my card today.

After stamping my sentiment onto Bazzill's Marshmallow cardstock, I masked off my flowers and ran them diagonally down my white panel then colored them in with Copic markers.  Lastly, I popped it up onto a gold card base.
