The Craft's Meow Release Preview- Lovely Labels

Hello and welcome!  Today is day three of the previews for the stamp sets being released from The Craft's Meow for the month of June.  You can check out the deets here, at The Craft's Meow's Blog.  Today's set is illustrated by a talented new member of The Craft's Meow family, Elizabeta Kushner and is called Lovely Labels 14!  You guessed it, it matches up with Spellbinder's Labels 14 dies!

This set is a larger set (6x8) and comes with many great images.  I chose to use some of the flowers and one of the great sentiments for my card today.

After stamping my sentiment onto Bazzill's Marshmallow cardstock, I masked off my flowers and ran them diagonally down my white panel then colored them in with Copic markers.  Lastly, I popped it up onto a gold card base.

The Craft's Meow Release Preview- Stitched Flowers & Stitched Sentiments

Welcome back to day two of previews for The Craft's Meow!  Today, I have two sets designed by NinaB Designs called Stitched Flowers and a small 4x4 set called Stitched Sentiments.  Both work really well together.

For Stitched Flowers, I started with a plain white card base and stamped my image in Tuxedo Black.  I then masked it off and stamped it again at an angle.  I then colored them and added a sentiment from Stitched Sentiments.

For my next project, I went with a simple rainbow effect using the birthday greeting from Stitched Sentiments.  I selectively inked "Birthday" and stamped it down the left side of my card.  I then finished it off with some red twine from the Ribbon Carousel shop.

I hope you have enjoyed, thank you so much for stopping by.  Be sure to visit The Craft's Meow Blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win one of these sets.

RCC56- Birthday Bash With Jessie!

Hey there!  Long time no post!  I certainly love summer for it's long days and warm weather, but it doesn't help me keep up with my poor blog.  Today, there is a new challenge up over at the Ribbon Carousel blog and this week Jessie is challenging us to make it all about birthday cards!!  I can't seem to make enough birthday cards, and I am sure you are the same, so here is the perfect challenge to pull out that birthday stuff and some ribbon and play along with us.

To start, I used some MME On the Sunny Side 6x6 pad from the store and adhered some strips to the top and bottom of my cardstock, which, by the way, is from the NEW Bazzill Card Shoppe paper pack.  This cardstock is my new fav, I am in love!  The colors are so bold and fun, check it out here.

I then, tied around some Divine Twine, also in the store, and added a colored and cut out giraffe and some fun letter stickers from OA.

This is the card I gave to my sweet niece, Haley, for her 2nd birthday.  Love the bright colors from those papers.  I hope you decide to play along with us, there is always a fab prize from the store for the winner!

Have a great day!

Paper: Bazzill Card Shoppe

Skipping Stones Design Inspirational Challenge

Hello there!  Phew, it's been awhile friends!  I am so glad you popped by, I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and if you are from the US, enjoyed time with your friends and family honoring our service persons.

Today is a bit bittersweet for me because I have decided to step down from the Skipping Stones team.  I have really enjoyed working with these wonderful ladies and wish them all of the best.  Thank you so much for having me!

So for today, we don't have a sketch, but an inspirational photo.  For my card, I picked an older SSD set called, Home of the Brave.  I used a sentiment from Sentiment Frames.

To start, I stamped the fireworks in different pigment colors to match the photo.

I then added strips of cardstock in teal and gold to the bottom and tied around some twine from The Twinery.  Lastly, I added a few rhinestones.

I hope you join us this week, I do believe there will be a stamp set up for grabs!  Have a great week my friends!

Skipping Stones Design Sketch and a Blog Hop!

Please scroll down or click here for The Craft's Meow Blog Hop post

Hello!  Today is a fun day here on the blog in that Skipping Stones and The Twinery teams are hopping together!  If you are hopping along with us today, you should have arrived from Julie's blog, if not you can check out all of the info at either The Twinery Blog or Skipping Stones Blog.  For my project today, I combined sketch 129 with the now releasing Grapeful set.  This set is too funny and has all of your special drink needs covered!

To start, I added a bit of patterned paper from My Mind's Eye's Lime Twist paper pad.  I stamped the lemon (or lime) wedge onto a white cardstock circle and adhered it on top of more patterned paper.

I added some fun ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel as well as some yellow twine and added a big rhinestone to the center of the bow.

Lastly, I finished it with a fun little sentiment from the set.

Now for the details, leave a comment on my blog and the other ladies blogs for a chance to win the Grapeful set from SSD along with a fabulous sampler pack of yummy twine from The Twinery!

Hello!  I am so glad you found your way here from Karen Baker 's blog for The Craft's Meow's release day Blog hop!  If you have no idea what I am talking about, check out The Craft's Meow Blog for all of the details.  All of the stamps you have gotten a glimpse of these last few days are now available in the store!  YEAH!

For my card today, I went with NinaB's lovely set, Flower Garden.  Those floral images are classic and I love using them with pigment inks.  I paired her set with a sentiment from Retro Foundations, another great background builder set designed by Karen Baker.

To start, I stamped my stems and flowers as well as my sentiment.

I then added a bit of patterned paper from a 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Dilly Dally, as well as a bit of yellow baker's twine, and then rounded the corners.

Super easy and great for mailing!  Now, on your way to Michelle Bertuzzi 's blog, and remember to leave comments along the way!  You may be the randomly chosen winner of all 6 sets!  The comment deadline is Wednesday at 9:00 PST.

The Craft's Meow Preview- Retro Foundations and Typically Teen

Welcome!  I am back with the last two sets being released this month from The Craft's Meow!  All of the sets that have been showcased will be available to purchase tomorrow!  So for today, let's start with Retro Foundations.  Karen Baker's designs are so classic and these two sets certainly will not disappoint.

To start, I stamped the circular background strip in green onto a white panel.  I then added the bold Happy Birthday greeting in blue right along side it.

I then wrapped some twine around the panel and tied it into a bow.  Lastly, I adhered it to a gold card base.

The next set, Typically Teen, is a free gift with a $50.00 purchase.

To begin, I stamped the little square checkered stamp repeatedly onto a white card base in gold.

I then added a fun strip of Smash tape to the front, love those wild colors!

Lastly, I stamped the splatter image in gray across the top and added my sentiment in black.

I hope you've enjoyed this weeks previews!  Tomorrow is the big blog hop with more chances to win these stamps, so be sure to check out the TCM blog for all of the details.

The Craft's Meow Preview- Sew Happy

Welcome to day three of the newest sets to be released from The Craft's Meow on the 21st!  Today's card is totally opposite from my last couple,  going from clean and simple to shabby/Vintage with this one.  This set has some great sewing images included and begged to be used with pinks and florals.

To start, I layered on Crate Papers Pretty Party papers, adding a scallop border to the top.

I then adhered a distressed doily, tied around some seam binding from The Ribbon Carousel Shop and added some double buttons threaded with twine.

I stamped the spool image in brown ink and the sewing machine in pink, cut them out and mounted them onto my card front with foam.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in brown, cut it out and adhered it straight to my card front.  Of course I had to add some pearls!

I hope you've enjoyed!  Stop by the TCM blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win this set.  As always, thank you for stopping by!

The Craft's Meow Preview- For My Dad and Dad's & Grads

Hello and welcome to day two of projects using stamp sets being released from The Craft's Meow on the 21st!  These two sets celebrate the Father's and graduates in our lives and are perfect for any masculine cards as well.

First up, For My Dad, designed by Michelle Bertuzzi.  I chose to use the rotary phone image, along with one of the sentiments.

To start, I stamped each image in a different color, the stamped my sentiment in brown.

Lastly, I added a bit of brown twine to the top.

Next up, a fun graphic set designed by Kaitlyn Ord called Dad's and Grad's.  Super versatile!  I chose to use the tie image for my card today.

To start, I took a cream panel and stamped my tie image repeatedly in orange, brown and blue.  Focusing on the colors from my patterned papers.

Next, I heat embossed my sentiment in white onto my patterned paper panel, rounded the bottom corner and assembled my card.

I hope you've enjoyed today's previews.  Go check out the TCM blog and leave a comment for a chance to win one of these sets!  Have a great day!
