Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hey, hey!

In all the years of blogging, I have never taken such a long hiatus from posting! I do apologize! I am sharing a wintery card today, for the Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! I missed the last one, so I am super excited to play along today.

Using the Deck the Halls stamp set from Lawn Fawn, I created a branch background using several shades of green. I took a bokeh stencil from Hero Arts, and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for some interest in the background.

Stamping out the mugs from Lawn Fawn's Love You A Latte stamp set, using Onyx Black Versafine ink, I colored them in with a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker. After the dried, I die cut each one out, and placed them onto the front of the card.

To finish it, I used the Hand Lettered Holiday set from My Favorite Things, and gold heat embossed it!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your blog hop!

Share Joy Challenge #35

Hello, my friends!

Today I have the newest Share Joy Challenge! I used the sketch, and a few TE products to create a Mother's Day card. Let's check it out..

I started with a piece of water color paper, and applied stripes of watercolor in gold, and teal. I trimmed it down, and adhered it to a light gray card base, and a strip of gold card stock to the side.

I die cut a circle, heat embossed a sentiment from the Simply Stamped: Zinnias set in gold, and adhered it to the panel. I die cut a few leaves from vellum using the Mini Leaves die set, and added a few sequins.

Here is a look at the graphic, and the rules are below! I hope you decide to play along with us!

Share Joy Challenge #27

Hello friends!

I am stopping by today to share this week's Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge! I played with the sketch, one that has so many possibilities!

I used the Light As A Feather mini set, and die combo to create a gold, and pink card. I first took a piece of pink chevron patterned paper, and adhered it to a card base. I then took a white panel, die cut an oval from it, and spritzed some pink in onto it. I then wrapped some twine around the top, and adhered it to the card base. I chose one of the sentiments from the set, and stamped it in black ink onto the front.

I stamped my feathers in Versamark ink, and heat embossed them with gold powder, die cutting them, and adhering them in a cluster onto the card.

AEIHeartU Challenge #31

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by! Today, I am bringing you the latest Avery Elle Challenge, Metallics! It's been around for ages, but Gold and Silver are always in! I used a bit of both on my cards today, yes, cards! I couldn't stop at one..

I decided I had to make a shaker to emphasize all of that glitz, so a shaker it was. I die cut an oval using the Sweet Scallops Elle-ments die set, from the upper middle of my white panel. I then added a generous amount of foam tape, sprinkled in lots of gold and silver sequins, as well as micro beads, and placed another piece of acetate over it to contain them. I adhered the panel to a white note card, which I had previously stamped my sentiment on.

I added three various size strips of gold card stock, and then adhered a floral spray of stamped die cuts over top of it.

I told you I couldn't stop! I took a white panel, stamped my flowers, and greens, and trimmed the bottom portion, carefully cutting around a flower, and a few leaves. I then popped it up onto a card base that I had stamped a striped pattern onto, as well as a strip of gold card stock.

I finished it by stamping the circle cluster stamp around my florals, using Delicata ink!

Thanks so much for joining me today, I sure do hope to see you play along!
