The New Ribbon Carousel!

Hey my friend, I wanted to pop in quick and share something really exciting with you!

Today is a big day at RibbonCarousel.com. We are debuting the Brand New Ribbon Carousel^© today and, of course, doing a giveaway on our Blog too! Here are the details:

The Ribbon Carousel^©is made out of White Marine Board Plastic (High Density Polyethylene), giving it a textured top with smooth scrolled edges. Each Carousel comes with 8 Clear Acrylic rods allowing for many different configurations. You can use it as a 4, 5, 6 or 8 post Carousel, depending upon your individual needs.

The Ribbon Carousel^© holds up to 60 rolls of 3/8" ribbon using 4 rods, 40 Wooden Spools or 16 spools of your favorite Baker's Twine using 8 rods. It SPINS around on a lazy susan, allowing you to access your ribbon and twine easily! This easy-to-use organizer is compact, with a footprint less than 7" square on your workspace. The Ribbon Carousel^© holds ribbon spools of any size up to a 4" diameter. Minimal assembly required.

Elegant Congratulations

Hello my friend! I hope you are having a great week, mine is speeding by! I haven't had any inclination to craft this week and literally forced myself to the table. For some inspiration I headed to the Moxie Fab World blog and chose the Embossing/Debossing Challenge. I heart my embossing folders! Here is what I came up with.

Starting with an aqua piece of cardstock, I debossed it with Lifestyle Crafts Dainty folder, adhered it to a white card base and rounded the corners. I then added some yummy pink ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel store, along with a black button, white ribbon and a leaf die cut.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Wplus9's Heartfelt Mix and called it done.

You Mean the World To Me

Me, again! How are you this fine Saturday?! Great I hope. I am coming up under the wire with this challenge card, but I had to play along! Cath over at The Moxie Fab World has a fantastic challenge from the pages of Paper Crafts Jan/Feb issue...Maps! Here is what I came up with.

Starting with a white card base, I adhered die cut flowers made from the Tattered Flowers Die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix. I then popped up the centers with some foam and added a couple of buttons.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from Hero Arts Live & Laugh set and adhered a die cut heart.

Heartfelt Sympathy

Hello, hello! Happy Friday to you! I have a little card to share using some fun rub-on's from K & Co. that I purchased quite awhile ago. I don't usually gravitate towards rub-on's but these looked too lovely to pass up, that and I think they were on sale {wink}.

I paired it with Kraft, yes I know I just had a Kraft and black project...love the combination! I simply adhered the rub-on to my card base, stamped my sentiment and adhered some rhinestones. Lastly, I rounded the bottom corners.

Do you have any plans for the weekend? Hopefully there will be some crafty time in mine, but the mojo seams to have taken a nose dive and I have no inclination to craft. We shall see and if I do craft this blog will be the first to know. Hugs to you my friend!

You're My Favorite Pillow Box

Hey there! I am back today with a fun little project I put together. I found some really fun, free packaging templates last week and decided to give one a try. I decided on a pillow box, nice and easy and cute.

Here is a little peek at my project.

To start, I printed off the template using Kraft cardstock

I then cut it out, and scored along the lines.

Taking the fabulous Starburst wood stamp from Hero Arts, I stamped the image all over my box.

Taking Scor-tape, I sealed the edge and folded in the ends.

Taking a piece of cream cardstock, I stamped my sentiment from The Craft's Meow's All You Need Is Love set. I then stamped some hearts in pink, hot pink and red.

Using black ribbon from The Ribbon Cariousel, I tied it around my package and secured the tag with twine.

All that is left is to fill it with some yummy goodies to give to someone special!

Howdy! Looks like I am on a roll this week with posts! It's feast or famine around here huh? Well, I had to stop back in today because I got to play yesterday and found much inspiration from the latest Runway Inspired Challenge: Christopher Kane Resort 2012. I mean, seriously, who doesn't love a good rainbow?!! Here is what I came up with.

Starting with a white card base, I impressed the left side with Lifestyle crafts Whimsy embossing folder (they sorta look like triangles, which mimic her purse). I then wrapped twine around the card in a rainbow of colors, added a button and stamped a simple little sentiment from Hero Arts.

Hi again my friend! I am back with a fun little card using Paper Made Bakery's January Kit!! You've seen it right? Chock full of gray and yellow yumminess, including Authentique's Blissful 6x6 pad of gorgeous paper, as well as a fabulous stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop! Love this kit. Here is what I made with it for this week.

Starting with white cardstock, I added a strip of floral patterned paper and popped up a cut piece of one of the card bases included in the kit. I then tied around some of the ribbon, fussy cut some flowers and added a little yellow pearl. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in gray.

Hey there! Hope this Monday finds you well. I have a colorful card to share with you today using the Hello Beautiful stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop! Love these fun images!

Starting with a black card base, I layered a piece of white cardstock impressed with a houndstooth pattern onto it. The I adhered three different colors of cardstock, along with my stamped images, which were cut out and one popped up. Lastly, I added some rhinestones around my sentiment.

Hello and happy Friday! I thought I would pop in and share a card that didn't get picked up for the last Paper Crafts call. I had submitted this card once before, and I only resubmit a project two times, if it doesn't get taken, I get to send it to someone I care about, score!

I stamped my flower image (from The Craft's Meow) onto a white card base, colored it and taking a craft knife, went around the petals to lift them a bit. I then die cut a circle from patterned paper, a green cardstock scallop, tied around some twine and stamped my sentiment. I then adhered that to my card with foam.

Hello, hello! It is my day over on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog, and I chose to showcase one of the very first sets I was able to play with back in August. The Core of It is such a fun stamp set and I just love the funky apples included in it!

Starting with a red card base, I debossed it using a fun Embossing Folder from Lifestyle Crafts called Dainty. I then paper-pieced the large apple using October Afternoon's Fly A Kite collection and added my sentiment onto white cardstock.

Sweet Stamp Shop Release Sneak Peak Sentimental Birds

Hey again! Thank you for popping by for the Sweet Stamp Shop Sneak Peak. Today and tomorrow, I will be sharing a few projects using two of the newest additions to the shop. You should have wandered here from Savannah O'Gwynn's blog, if not go to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog for all of the details. For today's card I used a fun little set called Sentimental Birds. This set is also included in The January Paper Made Bakery kit that I have introduced to you today. So much fun!

For this set, I chose to do two cards both in black and white...

Taking the large bird image, I stamped it onto white cardstock, trimmed it down and adhered it to black cardstock. I then adhered that to a white card base, to which I had stamped my sentiment and added a row of rhinestones.

For this next card, I simply stamped the large image twice onto my card front, re-stamped the birds in red and added my sentiment.

Today is a busy one here on the blog! Today, I am not only sharing a project made with this months lovely kit from Paper Made Bakery, but Sweet Stamp Shop is having their January stamp release which will also be posted today! 2 Blue Eyes...

Hello, hello! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I mentioned on Facebook the other day that I had whipped up a scrapbook page using this months fabulous card kit from Paper Made Bakery (which you will get to see at the end of the month). Well, I just couldn't stop there. Since Jonathan proved to be such a perfect model, I had to print off more of the pictures I had taken and scrap them. For a bit of inspiration I turned to this weeks Tuesday Trigger, By the Numbers.

For starters, I wanted to incorporate the rainbow of colors, so I used ROYGB, minus the IV on my project. I also included a number, yes it's only one number but hey it's there {smile}. Using mostly papers from Echo Park's Little Boy Collection, I cut strips and notched the ends. I added a few playful details, such as the clouds and stars as well as the little airplane circles to create that childish feel.

I have been very inspired to try new things this year and expand my blogging to include scrapbook pages, altered projects, and of course continue to do cards. But, more than that to show how I have done them. Hopefully there will be a tutorial or two coming your way. My goal is to continue to grow with my projects and my photography of them.

Hi again my friend! I had to pop in today to share my card that was inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge blog. Seriously, I missed playing along last week, these runway pics are full of inspiration!

The inspirational pic is super fab, so much awesomeness in one photo. All I could see was the heavenly chevron pattern and glorious black and white! Starting with a white panel, I die cut a window out of the side with a mat stack die and stamped my sentiment. I then adhere a block of Echo Parks Upscale collection to my card base and adhered my panel with foam. I then punched a few circles in three different sizes and added a little gem. I know, there are no circles or bling-y things in that pic, but I couldn't help myself!

Hello my friend! It has been a crazy holiday season, and I believe I can finally catch my breath! Today, I have a little card for the Ribbon Carousel Challenge, sponsored by Unity Stamp Co.! This week's challenge, "Anything Goes." I hope you will join us!

Starting with piece of Echo Park's Yours Truly, I tore the edge, stamped my sentiment (from TCM's All You Need Is Love) and then paper-pieced a fun heart stamp from Unity. I adhered the panel to my white card base with foam and added a bit of dotted black ribbon from the shop.

Hey there! How are things in your world? Great I hope! I just realized this morning that next month will make two years of blogging. I can't believe I have kept at it (didn't think I would), ever evolving and continuing to push myself to try new things. I can't wait to see what this year holds. For today, I have a little card using the Tuesday Trigger, Strip-tastic. Such great colors!

Starting with a white card base, I stamped a medallion image (mimicking the collar) from Poinsettia Patterns (Wplus9) after masking off two inches of the middle. I then cut strips of cardstock in the coordinating colors and lastly stamped my sentiment and added two rhinestones.

Hello there! I have a colorful card to share with you today using the Sweet Tooth stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop. This is one of my favs, besides my beloved Gnomies set.

Stamped the gumball machine image, colored it and added the small circle image in the bowl and colored those as well. I then punched a pink strip and attached it to my white panel, to which I tied on a bit of baker's twine. I then adhered the panel to a green card base.

For today, I have a simple little tag using the fun December kit from Paper Made Bakery. This is my last project as a guest designer and I want to thank Shannon for inviting me to create with her fun kit! For more info on the December kit check out the store here.

For my project, I die cut my tag, stamped the large flower and secured a threaded button to the center. I then stamped my sentiment and added a bit of trim to the top, also included in the kit.

You're Sweet!

Hi there and happy Monday! Not a happy Monday? Well, how bout a card? I am over at the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog today with a little card I made using Cool Scoop! I have been itching to use that sweet little cherry image and did just that on my card today.

Starting with a red card base, I impressed it with a wood-grain print. I then die cut a label, stamped and colored my cherries and the selectively inked two different sentiments from the set to create my own. I tied a little baker's twine and adhered it to a black button, and attached that to my label. Super simple and fun!

I Thought of You...

...and smiled. Yes, yes I did! I always appreciate when you come to visit my blog, it totally makes my day! I am sneaking in here to play along with this weeks Tuesday Trigger over at The Moxie Fab World. I haven't played in WEEKS! I have missed it so. That pillow was just too much and I couldn't resist it.

To start, whenever there is fabric involved I have to recreate that texture on my card. I impressed the front with my Linen & Canvas impression plate. I then took a light blue cardstock strip and gold heat embossed the branch image from Wplus9's Love Birds and adhered it with dimensional adhesive on top of two rows of pearls. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment on the bottom and "so sorry" on the inside along with the die cut and stamped bird, which I adhered with foam.

Hello and happy Friday! Wahoo, love Fridays! It is my day over on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog and I am using the fun mini stamp set, Spectacle! Oh these glasses crack me up, love em'!

On a white card base, I stamped one of the images and cut out the "lenses." I attached some patterned paper strips and a piece of black card stock to the left hand side and finished it off with a bit of bling and a selectively inked sentiment! Easy peasy!

Paper Made Bakery Thank You

Hey hey! How is your week going? It's go, go, go here! I want it to stop, stop, stop! HAHA! Today, I have a clean and simple-ish card to share with you using December's Paper Made Bakery Kit! So many possibilities with the papers, and trims and stamps you get. I decided to go a bit more clean with this one and focused on the lovely Memory Box floral stamp.

Starting with a white panel, I adhered two die cut leaf branches, along with a stamped and cut out flower. I then stamped my sentiment, added some pearls to the flower center and adhered it in the center with foam. I rounded the corners and then attached the panel to a white card base.

I'm So Sorry

Hey there! I seem to be creating things right at the last minute lately or not at all. I believe my mojo is a reflection of the dreary weather outside! Ick! I sat and stared at my cardstock for what seemed like forever! So image my surprise when I managed this card I used the latest Embellish Banner Color Challenge and went super simple with it!

To start, I ran the front of my card through my Big Shot with the woodgrain plate, attached a banner stamped with a sweet sentiment from Heartfelt Mix (Wplus9) using foam. I then stamped, colored and cut out a flower from Very Vintage Greetings and popped it up at the end of the banner.

Misted Thinking of You

Hello there! Life is pretty busy right about now without me even trying to be! I love Christmas-time but wow, it can get so ridiculous! Good thing I can go to my craft room and shut the door, lol! That is exactly what I did yesterday after my new WPlus9 stamps arrived, shut the door! I got a little inky with mist, and me and my precious die cut machine had a bit of a chat. I am just under the wire to enter this into the pot at CAS-ual Fridays, so here it is.

Starting with a white panel, I die cut the branch out of the side, flicked blue ink onto the front by rubbing a little ink down, spraying it with a bit of water and picking it up with a paint brush. I then stamped my sentiment and the tree branch and adhered the panel with foam. Lastly, I die cut and stamped the little bird and adhered it with foam and adhered a little gem. Tada!

Hero Arts December Sketch Challenge

Hey my friend, thanks for stopping by! I got the chance to go to Archiver's yesterday and get a few of the latest Hero Arts 2012 stamps! EEK, love these new stamps! I had a hard time deciding which ones I wanted most. Once I got them home, I couldn't wait to ink them up. For my cards today, I used two of the three Hero Arts December sketches and dug into my Hero stash to create these.

For my first card I used a large background stamp called Leaf and Flora Background and stamped it onto a white panel, which I rounded the top corners and punched a scallop edge. I then adhered it to a brown card base. I stamped my poinsettia onto white cardstock, trimmed them and adhered them, adding rhinestones to their centers. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment, matted it onto aqua cardstock, and popped it up.

For my next card I stamped a few animals from the set Playful Animals in brown onto an aqua card base, die cut circles onto a white strip and adhered yellow scallop strips to the side. I then added a bit of brown and white baker's twine and popped it up allowing the animals to peek through. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from in white ink and adhered it with more foam.

Here are the sketches for December. I chose the bottom two for my cards today.

Hello and happy Friday! I wanted to pop in with a card I made using the fabulous fashion inspirational pic over at the Runway Inspired Challenge blog! I love yellow and that dress! Love this concept and the fantastic design team, sooo inspiring! Here is what I came up with.

Starting with a white strip, I took an image from WPlus9 Poinsettia Patterns, stamped it and a matching smaller one repeatedly and adhered the strip to a white card base. I heat embossed one of the sentiments in gold and added gold-ish rhinestones to the centers to match the gold in the background.

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card I made using the December kit from Paper Made Bakery! The December kit is super cute and has some fun embellishments, stamps and paper in it to make the cutest cards.

Starting with one of the premade card bases, I added a strip of floral paper from My Mind's Eye Honey Cake 6x6 pad. I then trimmed out a couple of the flowers on one of the papers and adhered them to a white panel, to which I adhered a scallop strip of patterned paper. Lastly, I added a bit of twine that was included and adhered it to my card base with foam.

Starting with an aqua panel, I stamped the snowflakes and then the birdhouse which I colored in lightly with copics. I then matted it onto some Ocean Tides and tied around some red satin ribbon. Lastly, I adhered it with foam adhesive to a rustic cream card base, to which I then stamped my sentiment and added a rhinestone.

Hello again! I am back with the last previews of some of the awesome stamps being released at The Craft's Meow for December! Today, I am showing you two sets that Maree Truelove designed. These are so adorable, I wanted to use all of the images! Here is Warm Winter Wishes:

Starting with a white panel, I stamped the hats and paper-pieced them, added a little bit of striped paper and popped it up onto a red card base. Lastly, I added a bit of white flocking to the hat.

The next set, called Let It Snow, is just the cutest! I chose the big snowman for my card.

Stamping him onto a white panel, I colored him in with Copic markers and stamped my sentiment to overlap him. I then tied around some twine and added a bit of bling. I then attached the panel to a light blue card base with foam.

Howly Jowly Christmas

Hey there! The Ribbon Carousel has a new challenge up this week by Wendy and it is a lovely inspirational picture. There are a lot of directions one could go with it, I picked out the colors and "santa." I just had to grab Jenny Suchin's fun Happy Hoo-lidays stamp set, and color up that cute Santa Owl! Starting with a white panel, I rounded the corners, stitched a couple baker's twine rows, and stamped my sentiment and owl. I then stamped my owl onto white cardstock, colored it, cut it out and adhered it to the panel with foam tape.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peaks: Happy Owlentine's Day & All You Need is Love

Wow December 5th already! Can you believe it?! Today, I have two more super fun sets to share with you that are being released by The Craft's Meow! Be sure to leave a comment on the TCM blog for a chance to win these sets! The first is illustrated by Jenny Suchin, oh I love her sweet sweet owls!

Starting with the moon image, I stamped it onto white cardstock, colored it and then cut it out. I then mounted it onto a blue card base with foam and added a sentiment panel! I just love those owls!

For the next set, called All You Need Is Love, Kaitlyn Ord designed the cutest Valentine set and it has a sentiment about CHOCOLATE! Ack, I lurrrrve chocolate. Bad. Well, all of the super fun sentiments in the set got my mind churning and I made my own chocolate bars for my card! Wanna see?

Starting with a cream card base, I masked off the card except a small portion in the middle, where I stamped the various hearts from the set in different colors. I then cut some brown cardstock and layered little rectangles inside it to look like a little chocolate bar, which I then popped up onto the card front. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment along with a little heart.

Now, I don't believe I could ever love my husband more than chocolate but this sentiment cracked me up anyway. Chocolate is definitely up there though! {wink} Okay, that is it for me today, tomorrow marks two more fabulous sets, so stay tuned!

Welcome back to day two of The Craft's Meow sneak peaks. Today, I have a fabulous set designed by Michelle Bertuzzi called Happy New Year! This is a fabulous set for celebrating the New Year with a card! Here is what I did!

Starting with a white card base, I layered black cardstock and some fun patterned paper from Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze line. I then stamped one of the skyline scenes directly onto the card and the other onto white cardstock, which I then cut out and popped up with foam. Lastly, I die cut some numbers to spell "2012" and added a Happy New Year's sentiment onto a white cardstock strip.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peaks: Lovely Labels & Sent With Love

Hey my friend! Today marks the first day of peaks for the December release from The Craft's Meow! You are in for a treat here, these stamps are fantastic! For the first set, Nina designed some fabulous stamps that coordinate with the Spellbinders Labels 18! I don't own the dies (yet) so I just cut them out with scissors for this project.

I chose to go with a little Christmas shopping notebook, which could easily be placed in your purse. I stamped one of the large frames in red, green and the top one in gray and drew lines on each label to write your loved ones gift wish list. I then punched a hole through them and slid a binder ring in to hold them together. Added a little bling and viola! A fun little gift list organizer!

Next up is a super sweet vintage-y set by Nina B Designs which I used the big image from this set on my card today. Starting with a pink card base, I stamped the image and then stamped it again, cut out the butterfly and adhered it. I then stamped again onto white cardstock and cut out the banner, which I popped up with foam tape. I then added some black satin ribbon and of course my fav, rhinestones!

Die cut a circle of patterned paper and stamped my sentiment along with some doggie paws,.

Hey hey! Welcome to day two of the sneak peaks for the Sweet Stamp Shop! Did you come from Sav's blog? No problem just go here to find out what this is about. Today's set is super cute, with a bunch of fun eye glasses and a few funny sentiments. I was inspired by a card Teri Anderson did for the 365 Cards issue just released a few weeks ago.

Using one of the smaller eyeglasses, I stamped it repeatedly in a rainbow of colors with my sentiment in the middle. I took a bit of blue grosgrain and made a little tab and adhered the panel to an orange card base with foam adhesive.

Hey there! I am back to share a fun new kit club in town called Paper Made Bakery! Shannon puts together such lovely kits and they have all you need to create super fun cards with. She so kindly invited me to be her guest this month, so I will be sharing my creations made with this kit for the next few Thursday's, so please stop back to check them out. Here is a look at one of the cards I did with the December kit.

Starting with one of the premade card bases included in the kit, I heat embossed the lovely flower image with white powder and then rounded the corners of the card. Next I took some of the fun MME papers called Honey Cake and created a focal point with white cardstock and patterned paper. I then trimmed a pennant for my sentiment, which I added a wood letter from my stash and punched a heart from a neglected EK Success punch. {wink} To create the flower, I simply stamped it multiple times, trimmed the layers, and adhered it together with foam tape.

Starting with some lovely patterned paper from Teresa Collins called Carolina Breeze, I adhere a strip of the Damask and then punched a strip of dots paper with an EK Success punch. I then die cut two Labels 4 by Spellbinders and matted my image after stamping with foam tape. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in gray and added a pearl.

Hey there! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving, my US friends! I did, enjoying good food and my wonderful family. I wanted to pop in and share a fun little card I made for one of Cath's fun challenges, called Random Fun Challenges, which were to include either buttons, mustaches or alcoholic beverages! I used a mustache on my card from The Craft's Meow Fun{tache}tic set. I also drew inspiration from a card LO by Cristina.

Stamped my mustache onto patterned paper, cut it out and popped it up onto a cream panel, stamped my sentiment, added a bit more pp to the side and a mustache stick and then adhered the whole thing to a Terracotta tile card base. Tada!

Well, I am still recovering from pneumonia and slowly catching up on things I need to get done, but wow! I am beat and so want to blog more and participate in challenges. Sometimes it's just best to not do it at all. So, I apologize for not being around to your blog as I have wanted. I know you all have been busy! Enjoy your weekend my friends!

Peppermint Merry Christmas

Hello! I hope you are well, I wish I was...as I am currently recovering from pneumonia. Ugh. I thought being sick was bad, but this is worse! Anyway, you didn't come here to hear all of that, I have a little card to share with you today using the latest challenge over at The Ribbon Carousel challenge blog. This weeks challenge is hosted by yours truly and the theme is Holiday Hoopla! Make a holiday card! Here is what I did.

Stamping off some cutie peppermint candies from The Craft's Meow's Santa's Little Helper, I colored them, glittered them up with a red Spica pen and cut them out. I then stamped my sentiment from Season's Greetings and tied on a piece of delightful May Arts ribbon, yum!

Merry Christmas...Gnomie

Hey hey! I have a card to share with you today, using my fav Sweet Stamp Shop set, Gnomies! I turned this one into a Christmas card following the lovely Karen's sketch over at CAS-ual Fridays. Have I mentioned how much I love this set? Yeah, I thought so. Here is what I came up with.

I added a bit of texture to the white panel with the linen and canvas impression plate and adhered it to my card base after tying a bit of twine around it. I cut down some patterned paper, rounded the edges and then mounted a white panel to which I had stamped my sentiment and placed my colored and cut out gnomie.

Holiday Blessings

Happy Friday, wahoo! I have a card to share with you today using a fabulously clean and simple sketch at Lily Pad Cards this week. The Craft's Meow is sponsoring, so be sure to play along for a chance to win some lovely stamps!

Starting with a white panel, I heat embossed the snowflakes from Vintage Snowflakes in silver, adhered a bit of white satin ribbon and stamped my sentiment from Vintage Ornaments in gray. Of course I had to add rhinestones scattered around the snowflakes. ;0) I then took some fabulous patterned paper from Echo Park's Christmas Dots and Stripes collection and adhered a panel of it to my card base before adding my stamped panel with foam.

Happy Monday friend! I pretty much kept away from the craft room this weekend, just to give my creative brain a break. But, last night I found myself playing around and ended the evening with a card using the latest Embellish color trend challenge! The element to include was leaves and here is where I went with it.

First, I masked off a circle on my card front and stamped a woodgrain pattern in a Kraft color. I them stamped and cut out my leaves and flower and adhered that to my card front. I then stamped my sentiment in blue and added a bit of cream satin ribbon to the top. Lastly, I rounded the bottom corners and glittered up the flower with Stickles.

Happy Saturday my friend! Popping in today to share a card using Scootin' By from the Sweet Stamp Shop! I haven't gotten the chance to really ink this one up (horrible!) so I picked this set and decided to make it into a Christmas card.

I recently purchased Echo Parks Dots & Stripes Christmas Collection, because well, I just can't have too much patterned paper, and set to work. Starting with a white piece of card stock, I stamped the bike image inthree different colors and added my sentiment in black. I then took a sticker from the pack and popped it up on foam and finished it off with a rhinestone and a twine bow on the red bike. I adhered the panel to my card base, which I had adhered some striped paper.

Hello, hello and happy Friday! I have a little card to share using The Play Date Cafe's latest challenge, Color Splash. I love this particular challenge and recently purchased some Teresa Collins newest paper collection called Carolina Breeze and thought I would use it on this card.

I adhered one of the damask papers to the bottom portion of the card, rounded on corner and adhered a stamped and cut out orange poppy (from Impress). I tied on some satin ribbon, stamped, cut out and adhered my sentiment and then added a bit of bling!

A Pillow Inspired Happy Birthday

Hey! Today is my first post on the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Design Team! Andrea is our hostess this week and she picked a super fun picture for our inspiration. I chose three colors from the pillows in the picture and incorporated a bit of twine from the shop for the fabric aspect.

To start I punched my squares in those coordinating colors from Echo Parks Dots and Stripes Candy Shoppe Collection and stamped/embossed various images from Sweet Stamp Shop's Scootin' By set onto my squares and adhered them in a grid pattern.

Merry Christmas Bells

Hey there! I had a chance to go to Archiver's yesterday and pick up some stamp-y goodness and that included the fabulous background stamp from Hero Arts and some Brilliance ink (Tsukineko). I also had the chance to ink up Maile's fantastic Christmas set Bells & Boughs. For my sentiment panel, I incorporated CAS-ual Friday's latest challenge, to go Over The Edge.

To start I stamped the BG right onto my 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch card base. I then stamped two bells and the bow after die cutting them out with their corresponding dies. I then stamped my sentiment onto Aqua card stock and matted it onto a piece of cream card stock and snipped the ends to form a pennant. All of these were then popped up with foam adhesive.

Hiya! Thanks for stopping by today! I just love Saturdays don't you? I have a little card to share with you using two of the newest releases from The Sweet Stamp Shop, Furry Friends Forever and Sweet Alpha Doodles!

Starting with a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 white card base, I covered it with one of the ledger papers from the Fine & Dandy My Mind's Eye 6x6 pad. I then cut down some striped paper and matted it onto brown card stock, tied around some fabulous Striped Twill May Arts ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel and secured it to my card front. I then stamped and heat embossed the three bunnies from Furry Friends Forever, cut them out and adhered them. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment, put together from Sweet Alpha Doodles and Scootin' By, onto white card stock, trimmed it down and popped it up on my card.

Hey there! I have a card for you today using the latest Tuesday Trigger, Beads and Baubles over at the Moxie Fab World. I haven't played in so long and I have missed it! This weeks photo is GOOORGEOUS! Yes, that gorgeous. I mean, what a perfect excuse to use a MILLION pearls on a card!

I started by die cutting and embossing a label, stamped my leaves and sentiment and adhered the die cut label with foam. I then stamped my flowers in the coordinating colors from the photo and die cut them, adhering little pearls to their centers. Lastly I added a few rhinestones around the sentiment.

Sweet Stamp Shop Sneak Peak Sweet Alpha Doodles

Hiya! It's release day over at Sweet Stamp Shop and the sets you have been seeing the last two days (here and here) are now for sale! Have you arrived from Sav's blog? If not, that's okay! Go here to check out the deets. I am bringing you a project using a fantastic alphabet set! I love alpha sets, know why? There are so many things you can do with them! In this set, you not only get a ton of letters, you also get a few fancy scroll frames. Love those little extras! Here is what I made.

Starting with a white panel, I stamped "hello" repeatedly and masked off a little area for my frame. I then tied various colors of Divine Twine from The Ribbon Carousel (which I have been so kindly invited to join with!) across the bottom of the panel and adhered it to a Fine Linen (PTI) card base with foam adhesive.

Well, hello there! Boy are we having fun over here on the blog! I am back to share another little goodie from The Sweet Stamp Shop called Sports Fever. This set is so cute and perfect for that sporty girl in your life or if YOU if you happen to be a sporty girl! I certainly am not, but I know a few who are and would likely appreciate a little hand made love from this set. Here is a simple little paper-pieced card I put together using it.

Starting with a white card base, I adhered a strip of stripped paper from Echo Park's Metropolitan Dots & Stripes pad. I then stamped the basketball image mulitple times onto some orange from the Candy Shoppe pad, cut them out and adhered them to the card front. I then stamped my sentiment and rounded the top corners! Easy-peasy!

Hey all! The Craft's Meow stamps are now officially for sale! Wahoo! Don't you just love em'? I certainly do! Polka Dot Door Blog Hop & Inspirational Challenge

For my card today, I pulled out those gorgeous primary colors from the Fiestaware dishes on the wood table along with the greenery.

Starting with a white panel, I stamped the fabulous Hero Arts cling stamp, Garden Bouquet in Grass from Amuse. I then cut strips of patterned paper and tied around some twine, added a button and rounded the corners. I adhered it to a Kraft card base with foam adhesive.

Hiya! Tired of me yet? I hope not, because I have so much more to share! Nicole has been hard at work creating THE cutest stamps for the Sweet Stamp Shop and this little set is no exception! It is adorable. Furry Friends Forever has three cute woodland animals with a few fun extras in it, along with some sweet sentiments. It will be available for purchase on the second. How's bout a little peak?

Starting with a panel of cardstock, I stamped my furry little friends and colored them with Copic markers. I then cut a strip of cardstock and adhered various pieces of patterned paper, trimmed the edges and popped it up on my panel. I added a bit of twine and a button, then rounded the corners and adhered it to a brown card base.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak Whoo's Birthday

Hello again! Thanks for holding in there with me this weekend! So much going on here! Today, the TCM team and I are showcasing a fun little set by Jenny Suchin called Whoo's Birthday! I adore her little owls and this birthday set is no exception, CA-UTE. Here is what I made using it.

My card layout was inspired by a card Maile Belles used in a magazine pub, so to start I trimmed my card base down and adhered a little strip of Scarlet Jewel cardstock to the side. I then masked and stamped my owls one on top of the other onto a white panel and colored them in with Copic Markers. I added a couple of stripes to the side for balance and then added my sentiment in gray. I popped the panel up with foam so that it hung off the side of the card a bit.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peaks Vintage Ornaments & Vintage Snowflakes

Hello, hello! Today I have two cards to show you featuring the sets that Nina has created for The Craft's Meow called, Vintage Snowflakes and Vintage Ornaments. These sets are gorgeous, and so well done! I can see these being used again and again! Let's take a peek shall we, starting with Vintage Ornaments.

I stamped the three ornaments in three different colors onto a white panel, tied around Aqua Satin ribbon and after stamping my sentiment in black, added a black rhinestone. I then adhered the panel to an aqua card base with foam adhesive.

My next card features Vintage Snowflakes and as you saw in this card here, I stamped them onto a white panel with aqua ink, but funny thing, the orange ink I had used the time before didn't get cleaned as well as I had hoped and transferred a bit onto my panel. I think I like the effect! I then added some Hibiscus Burst grosgrain ribbon and stamped my sentiment, cut it out and popped it up. After rounding the corners on the panel, I adhered it to an aqua card base with foam and added some pink rhinestones. I had a bit of a thing with aqua it seems for these two!

Hey again! I really wanted to play along with the latest CAS-ual Friday challenge to use Laura's sketch, but realized that I have some pretty heavy posting coming up to their deadline on Tuesday, so...you get it today! I also combined the sketch with the Embellish color challenge and use of die cuts! Hello, I love dies! The color combo is so dreamy too...

Starting with a cream panel, I die cut a negative out of the side using Spellbinder's Snowflake dies, and then flicked some ink onto in with a paint brush and Perfect Pearl mist. Taking a piece of green patterned paper, I adhered it to the backside of the panel. I then stamped a dotted line in that purple ink and die cut more snowflakes, applied the pearlized ink and adhered them together with foam, to which I added a copic colored rhinestone. I stamped my sentiment (from the TCM set being sneak peaked tomorrow) in brown and popped it up onto a cream card base.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peaks Season's Greetings & Santa's Little Helper

Hey there! Welcome to day 2 of The Craft's Meow's November release sneak peaks! Today I have a couple of projects featuring a lovely set done by Nina B. Designs and an adorable playful set my Maree Truelove! First up Nina's set called Season's Greetings.

This set comes with the most gorgeous sentiments and one fabulous frame! I chose to focus on the frame and I snuck in another set you will be seeing again tomorrow called Vintage Snowflakes. I also wanted to do an unconventional color combo for Christmas of Orange, Blue and Cream! I stamped the frame in blue, cut it out and popped it up onto a cream panel stamped with the snowflakes and adhered that to a blue piece of cardstock. I then adhered that to an orange card base and added a bit of bling!

For my next card I picked out the adorable gifts in Maree's set, Santa's Little Helper and paper-pieced them onto a Kraft card base. Tied around some black and white baker's twine and stamped my sentiment in black. Easy peasy and fun!

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak The Merry Best & Happy Hoo-lidays

Happy Friday my friend! I am so excited about the next couple of post's here on my blog, because The Craft's Meow is releasing some fantastic sets! Today, I am sneaking a peak at two of the seven (YES! SEVEN) sets releasing this month, the first, The Merry Best by Kaitlyn Ord.

Starting with the HOHOHO image, I stamped it repeatedly down the left side of the card in Cherry Pigment ink from Amuse. I then stamped the gifts, cut them out and paper-pieced them using Crate Paper's Snow Day line and then popping them up next to my stamped sentiment.

For my next card, featuring Jenny Suchin's adoooorable Happy Hoo-lidays set, I stamped the stacked owl image onto Kraft cardstock and did a combination color and paper-piece. Added some patterned paper to the side along with a bit of pom-pom ribbon from American Crafts.

Hello, hello my friend! Thank you for popping by today! I have a little card to share with you using the Tree Traditions stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop. I love this winter-y set and the fun images Nicole created!

I focused on the little snowflakes in the set and stamped them in three different Distress Inks on the front of a white card base. I then covered the images with a panel of vellum, to which I added a light blue panel, impressed with PTI's Linen and Canvas Impression Plate, as well as a die cut oval window. I cut a strip of vellum and stamped my sentiment, attached it to my panel and adhered a bit of bling.

I hope you were inspired by my project today, here is a look at the whole set.

Hi there! I have a little card for you today using Sweet Stamp Shop's Halloween Owl-fits (which is on sale now!). I took a totally non-halloween approach to my card today using the little star image from the set. The layout was inspired by this sweet card from Cristina...

I added a bit of patterned paper from Echo Parks Dots & Spots paper pad and layered a pink card stock strip over it that I stamped with my stars in hot pink ink. Stamped my sentiment from Scootin' By and added a little gem. Lastly, I tied on a bit of pink and white baker's twine.

A Non-crafty Post = Chicken Update

Hey there! Thanks for popping by! It is s rainy day here and I have been a busy bee getting some of my crafty deadlines taken care of, not much time for challenges or just-because-crafting! Oh well, card making is fun regardless, right?! Right! So, since I have nothing to share I figured I would post about the chickens, since so much has changed since I blogged about them last!

John and I decided to add a couple more chickens to our flock, and found a lady who wanted to downsize hers! Perfect! Well, maybe not. We got two younger Buff Orpington chickens that lay and are very domesticated. They didn't stand a chance against Gretchen and Sassy! We tried to integrate the new girls slowly but the other two just wouldn't have it. So, we parted ways with them. I know it sounds cruel, but a nice woman answered our ad to take them and they are enjoying the wide open space on her farm. We now have two gorgeous, happy chickens who have been busy giving us the most delicious eggs!

Along with their arrival, my so handy hubby got busy revamping their coop! Love what he did with such little supplies! All that is left to do is give it a coat of paint, yellow with white trim! Can't wait! Here is the new coop along with our two new birds...

Meet Sugar. My favorite, I might add. She is super friendly and doesn't mind being picked up. She also loves to chat with you when you are near.

Meet Penny. She is very young and hyper, loves to dig and is really busy!

Here is the coop that John rebuilt. You can check out the original design here. We had to make do with the size constraints given by our city laws, but found there is plenty of space for these two. Don't mind the leafy mess! Time to clean!

Some pics of the inside, which include, a dirt mix of ash, sand and dirt for cleaning themselves (keeps the bugs off). A roost for sleeping, a nesting box for laying eggs along with feed and water.

Of course I had to leave you with a couple more pics of the girls.

Thank you so much for humoring me! I just love having chickens and sharing about them with others! Some people may think it strange, but I have found caring for and watching these two to be so relaxing and gratifying. Not to mention, delicious! There is nothing like a fresh egg or two to make it extra worth while.

A BIG Happy Birthday Blog Party!

Hello there! I am so glad you could stop by today because this is a special day! It is my blog friend Karen's birthday. I always enjoy everything that Karen creates and she is a sweetheart too, always leaving love on so many crafty people's blogs. In honor of her special day, Erin invited a bunch of us to a party to celebrate Karen! Of course she didn't want us to come to this special party empty handed so I made a few place cards for the special event. Using the latest Embellish Challenge for inspiration, you had to incorporate buttons along with the specific color combo of Brown, Green, Yellow and blue, so here is what I created for Karen.

Starting with some patterned paper from Jillibean Soup, I adhered a full panel to the front of a white card base. I cut a white strip and stamped my leaf image along with my sentiment. I added a few Aqua buttons and a cut out bird, adhering the strip to a brown panel and then to my card.

For the place cards, I simply cut coordinating colors of card stocks down to 3 x 2 added polka dots to the side and a white panel, stamped with the same elements as my card.

No Orange? Boo!

Hey hey! Life is busy here at the Amrhein house, and the motivation to craft is just not up to snuff. I know, I have said it before, but when the mojo goes low a challenge I will play! Enter CAS-ual Fridays Halloween challenge with NO orange. It's funny, I don't usually make Halloween cards and I have no idea what I am going to do with the ones I have made but it certainly was fun to make them!

I broke out some Tattered Angels Chalkboard mist in purple and went to town on a cream panel, stamped the spiderwebs (from Happy H'owl'oween from TCM and matted it onto black card stock. I then stamped the spider, cut him out and paper-pieced his eyes from white card stock. Lastly, I added my sentiment with American Crafts Letter stickers.

That's about it! I am hoping to squeeze in some more time this week for a couple other challenges I love to play along with, we shall see. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hey! Thanks for popping in! It is so rainy and yucky here and perfect for getting crafty. I have a little card to share using Thanksgiving Owl-fits' from the Sweet Stamp Shop.

Layering some patterned paper onto a black card stock panel, I then stamped and trimmed my sentiment pennant and adhered it. Stamped, colored and cut out little Melvin and popped him up on the card, easy peasy!

Vintage Happy Birthday To You

Hey there! I was able to get a little crafty today and made this card for the latest Moxie Fab World challenge: Textured To Perfection. Lately, I have been on a CAS kick that really doesn't lend itself to a lot of texture. So I tried to break out and try patterned paper and use up some of the flowers in my drawer!

Using Authentique's Halloween line, I matted it onto black card stock and then onto a Kraft card base. I layered some different fabric flowers, along with some older mulberry paper flowers from Prima and secured with a big pearl brad. Lastly, I added a bit of twine and a couple of stick pins.

I never seem to have enough birthday cards around so I figured this girly card would make a nice birthday card!

Hello and happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend and had a chance to hop around to see all of the fabulous projects made for Operation Julie's Smile. Now, how's bout a card? YEAH! I have to tell you, the mojo is still a little weak and I just haven't been feeling crafty, so when that happens I look for a challenge and in this particular situation I knew I had to CASE (copy and selectively edit) someone. Enter the CASE Study challenge. Chupa does an amazing job with this challenge blog, always a fabulous muse. This week it is Niki Estes. When I started papercrafting I remember always stalking her blog for ideas and inspiration, whoa can she color! Here is the card I made based off of her gorgeous creation.

Starting with a cream base, I masked off a square and stamped my music background strip repeatedly, added a few strips of card stock with my sentiment along with a die cut circle and colored butterfly.

I took Cristina's advice and looked at the picture for a few seconds and walked away. I then tried to recall the three, in this case four, design elements that stuck out to me, which were the music, turquoise, butterfly and circle.

Operation Julie's Smile

Hello my friend and welcome! Today is a very special day here in blog land because we are going to give Julie Ranae her smile back! You should have come by way of Julie Ranae's blog...what is this hop all about you ask? Well, in Nicole Rixon, owner of Sweet Stamp Shop's own words:

“The creative blogging community is coming together this weekend to help one of our friends, Julie Ranae. You may know her as the Design Team Coordinator for many wonderful companies from bakers twine, die cuts, rubber stamps and more. What many people don’t know about Julie Ranae is that she has had some pretty major dental surgeries in her lifetime due to medication she had to take as a child. It was in her plans to think about having all of her teeth replaced at some point in the next 5 years, a decision that was pretty easy to plan out. But then it happened…she chipped her front teeth on a weekend a month ago. The dentist told her there was no way to save them & that it was his recommendation that she give in and have them all her teeth removed soon, but for that day, they needed to get her front teeth done so her gums could begin to heal. He said he would 'work out payments with her to have ALL this work done...but when she called to make her appt for the first step of impressions, they told her the amount of money that was needed and that the 'payments' applied only to the two teeth that were extracted that day. Her husband Paul was with her & that too, was his understanding as well. So this is how she has found herself in this situation…Needing at least $4000 to get started and another $3000 to finish the process…a total of $7000.

Nicole Rixon, owner of Sweet Stamp Shop put together this benefit after finding out about this situation and before Julie Ranae knew it, it took flight!
Because she is an event organizer by trade, she has taken on the job of organizing all of the blogs in this hop as her way of ‘working overtime’ for what she needs, the same as if she were able to work overtime at an outside job to pay for the work to be done.
It is the goal of all of these generous friends & sponsors to help make this situation more do-able for our friend so that she can share a brand new smile with all of us soon.

I haven't known Julie personally very long, but she truly is a dedicated and very organized woman,, not to mention kind! I am always impressed with her ability to juggle so many obligations. I am currently on the Sweet Stamp Shop DT with her and well, she's the best! This card is for you Julie!

Using on of my SSS favs, Gnomies for my card, I stamped the heart border repeatedly in a rainbow of colors onto a white card base cut to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I then die cut a label and stamped my sentiment, adhered a little colored and cut out gnome and mushroom and popped it off my card.

For my card today, I stamped the snowflake images in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a white card panel, stamped the car and colored it with Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents to the car windows. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in black and added a rhinestone, cause I {heart} rhinestones.

Hi there, again! It is day three of the Sweet Stamp Shop Release Blog Hop week and I am the last stop today. Only one more sneak peak (tomorrow) and these baby's are for sale! So, for today's hop you should have made your way from Leigh Ann's blog. If you stumbled upon my blog today, please head over to the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog for all of the deets about this new bunch of stamps! For my card today, I chose to focus on the strip of drumsticks! I just love this image, it't too cute!

I stamped my image repeatedly, leaving the middle blank for my sentiment. I then colored each drumstick and stamped, colored and cut out a few more to add to my sentiment. I then adhered the panel to my card base with dimensional adhesive.

A Lawn Fawn Thanksgiving

Happy Wednesday my friend! I have a bit of a crush on Wednesday...it is that much closer to Friday! I have been so busy with DT stuff and life in general that my mojo kinda took a nose dive. On top of a slew of appointments this week, I couldn't seem to play along with any of my fav challenges and would just sit there staring at my paper and stamps. I know it will pass, but it's so frustrating.

Okay, enough of that, how bout a card I DID manage to eek out last night? I knew you would say yes! Two words: Tuesday Trigger. Sigh...it has been waaay too long since I played last. Cath, forgive me? See excuse above, swear.

I took one look at that pic and thought look at those gorgeous fall colors, so that's where I let it lead me. I also need a bunch more Thanksgiving cards so that helped too. I brought out my Harvest Season from Lawn Fawn, since it hasn't seen ink yet...I know.

Here is a look at that yummalumma (fun descriptive word courtesy of Cristina) picture:

I stamped the two open leaves onto the right side of a cream card base and colored them in with various Copic Markers, stamped my sentiment and added a few colored and cut out leaves. Easy peasy and totally mailable!

I just couldn't resist pulling out the original Melvin and Vernie set to go along with this new one. I used Authentiques Blissful collection to paper piece the TV set and then cut it out and popped it up on top of a piece of white card stock stamped repeatedly with the popcorn image.

Hey there, I am back! I don't know how in the world it is October 3rd already, but here we are! With it comes another fabulous release of fantastic stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop! We are shaking it up this month with a blog hop everyday introducing each new set along with the other Sweet Tooth Girls, so you should have arrived from Leigh Ann's blog. If you didn't, just go here for all of the pertinent info about this release.

So onto the set, Melvin and Vernie never looked so good dressed for Halloween! They certainly make me smile and so for my card today I focused on Melvin and his hilarious Dracula costume!

Starting with a piece of black card stock, I white heat embossed the star image and matted it onto light gray card stock. I colored and cut out Melvin and placed him over my sentiment, which was inked with Memento Markers in Tuxedo Black, Tangelo and Dandelion.

I Have You In My Heart & A Winner!

Hello and happy Monday my friend. Boy, the weekend went waaay to fast! My husband and I went on a little overnight trip Friday night for our sixth anniversary and had a great time! Thanks to my mom for watching our rambunctious three year old! I hope to pop back in here at some point and show you the card I made for him, maybe tomorrow. Until then, how bout a little Embellish Color Trends card love? Circles, I love them and I also love the colors for this challenge too. Check it out.

For my card I punched circles in two sizes using Berry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate and Ripe Avocado card stocks. I then punched one of them with an EK Success double heart punch and added a few rhinestones to set off my sentiment. This card is for a sweet lady in my church who is currently going through a very rough time with her health.

Hi again friend! This week has been CA-RAZY on the blog! I am back though with a fun little note card set I made in celebration of World Card Making day! Seriously, who wouldn't love to get a handmade card in the mail from someone they care about?! The Craft's Meow October Release Blog Hop

Hello again my friend! So excited about today, because all of the sets, five of them to be exact, are now for sale over at The Craft's Meow! You should have come by way of Julie Ranae Murray's blog, if not, start here to find out what all of this is about! Do you have a fav set so far? I love them all, and had a hard time trying to decide which on to use for the blog hop today, but I settled on Jenny's set, Fall Fun and made two cards for you today.

For this card, I wanted to use the fun ladder image, propping the bird up on the top rung and another bird at the base, as if they are communicating and colored them in with Memento markers. I impressed a frame image into the card and added some Harvest Gold buttons to accent my sentiment.

For my second card I used those cut little squirrels sharing a little nut love! I die cut two hearts from red card stock and a banner stamped with my sweet sentiment and adhered them to my card with foam. Now for the coloring, I went really simple with no shading and alternated the colors on them for interest. I did stamp, color and cut out the little acorn and shaded it a bit.

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak Fall Fun

Hi there! Today is the last day of sneak peaks and tomorrow all of this stampy goodness will be for sale over at The Craft's Meow! I am sharing a card using a FABULOUS set by Jenny Suchin called Fall Fun! Oh goodness, I am quite partial to this one I must admit. Check it out.

Using a card base I had made earlier from my misting fun in this post here, I stamped the log image repeatedly using four different colors of ink on the right side of the card base. I then stamped my sentiment in brown.

Hey again my friends, it's feast or famine this week! Thanks for hanging in there with me. Along with all that's going on this week, I am up on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog today with a fun little tag using The Core of It. I just adore the apples in the set, so I showcased them. For my project today, I went with a gift tag. Being apple season and all, my husband made the most delicious apple sauce from apples he picked while visiting his parents farm. Oh my this apple sauce is heavenly and really hard to stop eating! Who wouldn't love to get a jar of homemade applesauce with a little handmade tag on it?!

Taking a tag die from Papertrey Ink, I die cut a piece of Ripe Avocado card stock and adhered my stamped and cut apple slices. I then die cut a banner and stamped my sentiment, trimming the end and tucking it under an apple slice. Using my pinking shears, I cut a piece of patterned paper in a circle and placed it on top of my jar lid, tying it with twine and adding my tag.
