MFT Color Challenge #63

Hello, and happy Monday!

I was able to create a bit this weekend, and made a sweet little birthday card using My Favorite Things color challenge

I started with a panel of white card stock, and ran it through my die cut machine using the Blueprints 25 die to create a border on my panel. Using mint dye ink, I stamped a striped pattern from the Pinstripe Background Stamp onto my panel, barely smoothing it down to get a distressed look.

I stamped my sentiment from the Birthday Wishes and Balloons stamp set, in Onyx Black Versamark Ink, in the center of the panel. I then stamped out, and cut the cute flowers from the Beautiful Blooms set.

As a last touch, I added some white gel pen details to the flowers, and a bit of shimmer with the Wink of Stella Glitter brush pen.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great one!

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #318

Hello, and happy Sunday!

I was able to get together with my crafty gals this weekend, and created a little card for the latest MFT sketch!

I just love that hanging cat from the I Knead You stamp set. It's adorable! I decided to have him (or her) hanging from behind the sentiment strip. I began by stamping the cat image, and colored it. I then masked it and blended in Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.

I removed the mask, and added a piece of black woodgrain paper, that I white heat embossed a portion of the original sentiment onto. I took two strips of striped patterned paper, and adhered those to a white card base. I then adhered the panel to my card with foam tape.

As a last touch, I adhered a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

I'm Glad We're Friends

...Well, I am! Even if I disappear for weeks on end. I am so sorry about that! I have a little card to share today, using an older My Favorite Things stamp set called Snuggle Bunnies. I thought it would be fun to do a bit of ink blending, some simple stamping, and Copic Coloring.

I started by stamping the adorable images onto my card front, and masked them off with masking paper.

I blended in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberries, Ripe Persimmon, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink onto the top portion of the card, and added some water flicks to give it a bit of interest.

I colored my images with Copic Markers, and stamped my sentiment below them. Super simple, and fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
