MFT Card Challenge #314

Hello my friends!

Thanks for stopping by! I was able to do some crafting this weekend while away with my friends, and managed to make a card for this weeks MFT Sketch challenge. I did a bit of masking, and ink blending, check it out:

I started with a white panel, and stamped each cactus image from the Sweet Succulents. The center image first, as I wanted it to be front and center, then masking it. I then stamped the two others. I then masked those two, and taped off the section of the panel that I didn't want inked, around the images. I brought in my Distress Inks using a foam applicator, in the colors of Squeezed Lemonade, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, and Chipped Sapphire.

After I blending on the ink, I removed all of the tape, and the masks that covered the cactus. I colored in each one with a different green color combination, and finished by stamping a simple Happy Birthday sentiment below the scene.

I mounted the panel onto an orange card base using foam tape, and opted for no additional decoration. Hard to resist for me, but I didn't think it needed it.

Thank you, again for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Fusion Card Challenge

Hey friends!

A new year, can you believe it?! Thank you to all of you that left comments on the Seasons Givings Blog Hop post! My winner is Jen W., and I have emailed her. I am going to jump right in sharing my card that I created for the 3rd Anniversary of the Fusion Challenge! Is that inspiration picture not the most lovely scene? I thought so too, so it is the jumping off for my card.

I started with a white card stock panel, and stamped Altenew's Wood Pallet Background in TE's Toffee dye ink. I then ran the panel through my die cut machine with TE's Stitched Circle Stacklets. I created a frame out of wood paper, and adhered it around the open circle.

I die cut a mug from MFT's Hug In A Mug die set, along with a few details. I adhered the panel to the card base, along with the mug, and stamped a sentiment from the coordinating set from MFT.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Hello, and Happy New Year!

I am so excited to be among the bloggers participating in this years Seasons Givings Blog Hop! It is a fabulous hop, where we thank YOU, our dear blog readers, with fabulous prizes and lovely card making eye candy! Did I mention fabulous prizes, at every blog?!

I thought I would share a little card with you, using some Memory Box products from last year.

I started by taking a little die set called, Groovy Symbols, and die cutting the heart multiple times using different colors of card stocks. I then layed them out, and placed a piece of Press and Seal over it, so it wouldn't shift. I then applied foam squares to the back, and placed it onto a piece of white card stock.

I covered a card front with striped patterned paper and placed the panel onto it with strong adhesive.

I then die cut the word love, three times, and applied glossy accents to it. Once it was dry, I adhered them to the card front. As a finishing touch, I applied some shimmer to random hearts on the card!

So, how about a giveaway? I have a collection of Sweet Stamp Shop goodies, as well as a few random Copic Markers (new) that need a good home! All you have to do is leave me a comment. Any comment will do! I will pick by Random.org, and notify the winner via email (so make sure your email is connected to your name). You have until Wednesday January 4th, 11:59pm EST. Sadly, I can not ship international at this time, so US residents are the only ones eligible for the prize. Good luck!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the rest of your hop, and maybe win some crafty goodies! Your next stop is Dana! Have a great day!
