Share Joy Challenge #24

Hello!

I am bringing you the newest Share Joy Challenge for Taylored Expressions! I chose to use the sketch and the Clean and Simple. I liked the extra challenge, and using the Simply Succulents and matching die set, I came up with this..

I started with a panel, and ink blended in some light pink, I then stamped one of the smaller images, and colored it with Copic Markers. After I cut it out with the coordinating die, I adhered it with a bit of foam, and stamped my sentiment below it.

I then tied twine around the top portion, and after adhering a bit of dotted pattered paper to the card base, attached the panel with a piece of fun foam.

Here is the graphic so you can see what I worked with. I sure hope you play along! I can't wait to see what you make! Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a great one.

Share Joy Challenge #23

 Hello!

I have the newest Taylored Expressions, Share Joy Challenge to share with you today, and it is one of my favorites! I chose to do the Tic-Tac-Toe board, instead of the sketch.

Using a piece of watercolor paper, I created a wash of color using a few Distress Inks. After it dried, I then ran it through my Big Shot using a mat, and the Elegant Butterflies Die set. I took a random tag die, and cut it from the center, along with four layers of black card stock. I adhered those together, and reinserted it into the panel.

I adhered the panel to a white card base, and added a white heat embossed sentiment from the If Cats Could Talk stamp set, onto black card stock. I finished it off with a few black sequins. The graphic is below, and I do hope you are able to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Share Joy Challenge #22

Hello!

Today is a new Share Joy Challenge! I went super clean and simple here, using the sketch, as well as the adorable Happy Hens stamp set, and matching dies.

I started by adding green ink to a white card base, and die cutting a circle from a panel of white card stock. Before adhering the panel, I stamped my sentiment, and then wrapped some twine around the panel, and adhered it to the card base with foam.

I stamped the hens in Antique Linen Distress Ink, and colored them in with Copic Markers. I still have quite a bit of practicing to do with no line coloring, but it was fun, and I really like the effect. I die cut them out, and popped them up within the circle.

I hope you can play along with us, we'd love to see what you create!

Have a great day!

Share Joy Challenge #21

Hello my friends!

Thanks for stopping by today! It is a new Share Joy Challenge, and I can't wait to show you my card!

I chose the sketch, and worked it into a shaker! I haven't done one in awhile, so it was time. I started by stamping, and die cutting the Mason Jar set from white card stock. I placed it over my white card stock, and made marks onto a panel, where I would do ink blending. After I masked off the area, I added a rainbow of pinks, and spritzed a bit around the area, before forming the shaker.

I added foam tape all around the jar die cut, poured a lovely TE assortment of sequins, called Sweetheart Mix, into the colored area, and adhered the jar. I layered that panel onto some pink glitter paper, and stripes. I stamped a sentiment from the Much Love set, onto black card stock, using Versamark. I then heat embossed it, and trimmed it out. I also stamped the balloons from Love Is An Adventure, and colored them with Copic Markers.

Here is a look at the graphic, and if you chose to play along, you can pick the sketch OR the lovely color combination. I hope you play along!

Have a great day!!

AEIHeartU Challenge #33

Hello!

How was your weekend? Did you get any crafty time in? I hope so! We had such nice weather on Saturday, I had to spend it outside. We also built a chicken coop, and got our sweet birds settled in. Yes, you could call me a crazy chicken lady, lol! I will share a pic soon!

So, you didn't come here to read about my chicken fun, how about this challenge from Avery Elle?!

So, how about that card?

I used the fun, Tea Time set, masked, and stamped, as well as colored, three of the cups with Copic Markers. I trimmed them all out, and set them aside, while I worked on the watercolor piece. I took a few different Distress Inks, and created a was onto a piece of Watercolor paper. I then die cut it out using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments.

I inlaid the piece into the paper that I die cut it out of originally, and adhered it to a white card base. I stamped my sentiment from the set, and adhered my cup stack to the card using foam.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you might have a chance to join us for our last challenge, we would love for you to create something! Have a great day!
