Share Joy Challenge #16

Hello!

Can you believe it is New Year's Eve day?! I am sooo ready for 2016, and what it may bring. This year was quite the challenge for me personally, and I am anxious for a new start. So, let's see what the last Taylored Expressions challenge of this year, brings.

I chose to work with the sketch this time, and flipped it upside down. I took a piece of yellow card stock, and stamped the adorable arrow from the Much Love mini set, using Versamark ink. I then stamped, and colored the tree, and bench, using Copic Markers. I trimmed those out and adhered them on top of the yellow piece.

To finish, I added a white heat embossed sentiment on vellum, tucked under the images. I also added a generous amount of Wink of Stella to the hearts!

The graphic is below, and I sure hope to see you play along! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, dear blog friends!

I hope that you are able to celebrate this day with your loved ones. I wanted to share the last card for Christmas with you, using a couple of My Favorite Things products.

I started with the fun Snow Drifts Cover-up die, and cut it from a few colorful card stocks. I then reinserted the pieces in a white negative piece, and adhered the panel to a card base, using a piece of fun foam.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed a lovely greeting from the Hand Lettered Holiday set, onto black card stock. After trimming it down, adhered it over a bit of black thread, using foam tape. To finish it off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful Christmas Day!

Share Joy Challenge #15

Hi there!

These weeks sure go fast, don't they? Here we are, time for another Share Joy Challenge. Below you will find the challenge graphic, and I picked the sketch. How cute is this little cat? Love it!

I started with a white square that I had die cut from a die, and I added a bit of Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink using a foam applicator. I then took the If Cats Could Talk stamp set, and die, and stamped those out, trimming the fish bubble with detail scissors. Using my Copic Markers, I shaded them, and adhered them to my square with foam tape.

I added a bit of patterned paper to a white card base, and popped up my focal point with foam tape. So there you go! I hope you decide to play along with us this week! I can't wait to see what you make!

Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Helloooo!

I am back today to join the fun this month, for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
Aside from coffee, I do love a giant, hot cup of liquid awesome, er..hot CHOCOLATE! I am only slightly obsessed with chocolate, so to put its beauty in liquid form, I could not refuse!

I used the fun Hug In A Mug set from My Favorite Things, and did a lot of ink blending! I started with a panel of watercolor card stock, which I find blends Distress Inks really well, and added Evergreen Bough to the bottom portion using a foam applicator. I then spritzed on water, and ink for interest. I allowed it to dry, and then stamped my sentiment at the top, using a dark brown ink.

I die cut the fun mug die, and colored it up with various pink Distress Inks. I also white heat embossed a snowflake from the set, onto the front of the mug.

When it was done, I adhered it to my panel with foam tape, and adhered a few "marshmallows" that I die cut from white card stock.

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoy the hop!
