Hellooooo!
I am stopping in real quick to share a birthday card I made using the Wonder of Watercolor Challenge over at the Moxie Fab World. You can never have too many birthday cards, I can't seem to keep up lately!
To start, I took a piece of watercolor paper, and using a water brush, painted a rainbow of distress inks on the top portion of the panel.
I stamped the typewriter from Mama Elephants, Type It set and matted the panel onto a Kraft card base.
Thanks for popping by! Have a great one!

Guesting with Sweet Stamp Shop
Looking for the birthday hop? Please scroll down or click HERE!
For my first card, I chose to stamp the two solid images in yellow and aqua, and the open image in gray. I then stamped my sentiment in black and added a few sequins and a brad.
I then popped up the panel on a piece of patterned paper.
For the next card, I stamped the tops of the buildings in black, then stamped the fireworks a couple of times in gold.
Party Like A Boss!
Love that sentiment, because it fits the reason for my card perfectly! If you aren't familiar, Michelle is the owner of the challenge blog CAS-ual Fridays AND she just started a stamp company with some really fabulous designs. She is so great to work with and funny too! Happy birthday Michelle! Now, if you are following along on the hop, you should have arrived from Lorena's blog. If not start here to see the inspiration parade!
For my card, I stamped Wplus9's Quilt Prints across the bottom, overlapping the design and adding gold ink with one of the additional images in the centers. I then took a sentiment from Strictly Sentiments that was so appropriate for Michelle...Boss! haha!
Lastly, I added a few gold rhinestones and rounded the bottom corner. I hope you likey! Now, head on over to see what Sylvia has in store for you!

Stamps: Quilt Prints, Strictly Sentiments Wplus9

CAS(E) this...Fusion?
Hey there!
This month is finally getting on better footing, slowly, but surely. To recap the events, there was a car accident, surgery to fix Dallas' tongue tie, picking up the repaired car, a broken wedding ring, all on top of our already busy life! GAH! Is it May yet. lol?! I am certainly thankful that I have a wonderful husband to cling to when it all goes south. This one is for him.
In those brief moments of calm, I would slip away to TRY and make something, usually of a very CAS nature. So, the current Fusion challenge provided me with a super fun inspirational pic and CAS(E) this Sketch, gave me a fabulous starting place. Seriously, paint, one stamp and letter stickers! Super simple.
I took the sketch loosely, but I think you can tell it's there...
Thank you so much for hanging in there with me.

Runway Inspired Challenge #34 - Reem Acra
Hello!
I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! It's a fabulous 63 degrees and I am finally able to have a relaxing day for once! Wahoo!
I thought I would sneak away to the crafty space and create for the latest Runway Inspired challenge. All of that beautiful black and white, delightful! That, and I wanted to try out my new Wplus9 stamps.
To start, I flicked some black Mr. Huey's over my white card base and let it dry. I then stamped the large solid image from Quilt Prints. I added some flowers and leaves using the Folk Art Florals set.
I finished it off with a sentiment from Strictly Sentiments and added a bit of bling!
Here is a looksie at the inspirational photo:

Glittery Thanks
Hey! It's Friday! WAHOO!
Not only is it Friday, it's a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays, number 98 to be exact. This week, we are glitter-ing it up and using it on our clean and simple projects. I brought out that big pack of Wow! glitter and used it in a really simple way.
To begin, I grabbed the new Blanket Stitched Blooms from Wplus9 and stamped/masked two of the flowers.
Taking a wood veneer "thanks," I covered it in glue using a glue pad, then covered it in brown glitter. I let it dry and then added it to my card front.

This week, the fab sponsor is Simon Says Stamp! You could win a $25 gift certificate to the store, awesome! I hope you have a great weekend!

Celebrate and Be Happy
Looking for The Craft's Meow April Blog Hop post? Scroll down or click HERE
Hello!
Ah, Monday...back to the predictable routine. The weekend went way too fast, as usual, but I was able to get crafty and that is always a good thing. For inspiration I looked to the new Fusion Challenge blog! What a great idea! I chose to combine the sketch and the inspirational photo and made this:
True to my word, I finished this card and low and behold, there was a giant ink stain in the top right corner...really? YES! So, I trimmed it down and adhered it to my black card base. Should I have admitted that? Ah, well...I vote for transparency, so there you go. I could not figure out a good way to adhere my glitter, so I opted for double sided tape. Speaking of glitter, Katie, you did not see this...Don't tell the others, k?
I reached for my fav Mama Elephant set, Hello and added the the black heat embossed speech bubble with foam. A really simple, colorful card!
Here is a look at the sketch and inspirational photo:

The Craft's Meow April Blog Hop
Hello there!
Today, The Craft's Meow Design team are joining together for our monthly inspirational blog hop! This month, the theme is Friendship, and if you are following along, should have arrived here from Lin's blog. There are so many stamp sets in the store that cater to Friendship. Check em' out!
For my card, I grabbed the In Tandem set, designed by NinaB. I just love that bike! Using papers from the Lucky Charm 6x6 pad from Dear Lizzy, I added different designs and a cluster of fussy-cut flowers. I stamped the bike in Navy and cut it out, adhering it straight on to my card.
As a fun touch, I heat embossed my sentiment to which I curved on my block like a flag, before I stamped it.
That is all folks! I hope you enjoy the the rest of the hop, as Nina is your next stop. Have a great one!

Grateful Beyond Measure
I have a little card to share...using my fav Mama Elephant stamps. I had been on a roll, and then this week happened, lol! It was rough, quick but rough and I didn't get much crafty time in. Easily remedied this morning, wahoo! The sketch over at the Mama Elephant blog got me started.
To start, I turned the sketch on its side. I adhered a strip of patterned paper to the top portion of my card base, I then spritzed the card with some white SC Mr. Huey. I stamped the triangle image in black and adhered a heat embossed speech bubble over it with foam.
For the upper corner, I used a bit more patterned paper (must dehoard, must dehoard) and a strip of some washi tape. Lastly, I added some enamel dots to incorporate more of the blue color.
Here is the sketch:
On a personal note, I feel that I need to apologize to you all for not coming clean about my blog comments. Last year I posted that I was turning off my comments, did so...and regretted it. You see, I realized how much this community of crafters meant to me. We encourage each other through our blogs and I feel like I severed that part of my crafting experience. After I had this epiphany, I kinda let it slide here and there, until finally I decided to not even bother turning them off. I know I have probably lost a few of you because of it, and for that I am sad...but I am starting anew and wanted to come clean. So, dear crafty friends, thank you for hanging in there with my fickle nature, I appreciate you so much! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

CAS-ual Fridays Chevrons & Flowers
Happy Friday!
This week has been "one of those" if you know what I mean! I didn't get much crafty time in, boo hoo! But, I am back today with the latest challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. This challenge is close to my heart, cause I love chevrons and I love flowers!
So, for my card today, I brought out my Mama Elephant stamps and set to work.
To begin, I stamped the chevron pattern on my card base. I then took a white panel, masked and stamped the solid mums from this set, and trimmed around them. I then stamped my sentiment and added some gems.
