Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: Pastel Pretties

Hey there!

Cath's latest Tuesday Trigger, with those lovely spring colors, have me longing for buds on the tree and 60 degree weather!  It can't get here soon enough for me.  I pulled out Mama Elephant's Rustic Spring set for my card today.  I incorporated the colors from the picture onto my card, as well as the eggs.

To start, I adhered a lovely pink piece of patterned paper from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm 6x6 paper pad.  I then stamped the branches and colored the buds in with an orange Copic.  I added a bit of patterned paper to the other corner using some pattern paper from Studio Calico's Snippets paper pad, as well as a wood veneer speech bubble.

Here is a look at the Trigger:

Well, that is all for me today!  Thanks so much for popping by, have a very blessed Easter weekend.

CFC96- Funny Bunny

Happy Friday!

This week at CAS-ual Fridays, we are bringing out the Easter inspiration!  The challenge?  To make something Easter-themed, that isn't a card.  Oh MY!  Now that is a challenge!

For my project, I created three little gift bags, complete with "grass!"  I created my label with Wplus9's Very Vintage Greetings Label die and coordinating stamp set.  I then took the flowers from Very Vintage Florals, stamped them and added the flowers with their dies.  I added some glitter fabric ribbon from American crafts and of course, chocolate!  Here are a few close-ups of each bag.

So, now it's your turn!  We would love to see your project.  The prize this week is a fun one, Timeless Twine is providing a fabulous package to the lucky winner!

Have a great one!

Birthday Wishes

Hey!

I am up today, over at The Craft's Meow blog with this little card, using one of our newest sets, Sweet Birthday, pairing it with Good Times (love the banners!).

To start, I adhered a lovely piece of gold cardstock onto a white card base.  Cutting a panel of white cardstock, I masked and stamped a cluster of balloons, and taking a black multi-liner, created the strings.  Lastly, I stamped the banner, cut it out and added a sentiment from the Sweet birthday set.

Simply Wonderful

Hello there!

How is it Monday already?  I am forever asking myself that question after the weekend rolls on by.  Well, I wanted to pop in here and share a little card I made this past weekend.  I took the Pattern Play card class over at Online card classes, and thought I would try stamping on pattern paper.  I seem to have stopped using it, as I find using only stamps and ink to be a fun challenge!  HA!

I started with a piece of patterned paper from one of my, ahem, many Studio Calico paper pads, stamped the lovely mums from this set, and popped it up onto a light gray cardstock.

I then stamped my sentiment from Smitten onto a strip of vellum, heat embossed it and adhered it to the panel with some liquid glue behind the embossed sentiment.  I added some gems to finish it off.

Thanks so much for visiting!

CFC95- "No Stamps!"

Did you read that correctly?  NO STAMPS!  Ack!  That's this weeks challenge over at the CAS-ual Friday challenge blog.  I guess it isn't that bad, although it seems like stamps are all I create with any more.  I sure do love me some stamps and ink!

To start, I adhered strips of paper tape (from the March Studio Calico Card Kit) to a cream panel, adhered some Basicgrey letter stickers and enamel dots.  I then adhered the panel to a green card base.  This was one quick and easy card!

Play along with us!  So much fun and a prize from SRM stickers is up for grabs, woot!  Have a great weekend my friends!

The Craft's Meow March Release Blog Hop

Howdy!

Today is the day!  The day when all the stamps you've seen sneaks of all week are available in the Store.  If you are hopping along today, you should have come from Lin's blog, if not, wander over to TCM blog for the details!  The sets I chose to play with today are, Take the Cake and Sweet Birthday.  I am also excited to share that our new Gallery is up and ready, please go check it out!!  It's full of inspiration!

For my projects to wrap up this release, I couldn't stop with one card, so I made four!

For this card, I cut my card base down, and stamped clusters of flowers from Sweet Birthday in the bottom right corner.  I then did the same in the top corner, and added the polka-dot and zigzag strip to finish it off.

For the next card, I went really clean and simple, and stamped the floral bouquet from Take the Cake, colored it with Copic markers and stamped my sentiment.

Here is a set of cards using both sets:

I went a little crazy with the Mr. Huey spray, lol!  I sprayed my panels of cardstock in red and silver and then another in green and silver.  I then stamped one of the smaller patterns from Take the Cake, trimmed it down and adhered it to the base of each panel, stamped my sentiments repeatedly and adhered those to black card bases.

I added a bit of doodling with a Copic multi-liner as a last touch.  Okay, now your next stop on the hop is Nina!  You have a better chance of winning all four sets, by leaving comments along the way!  Enjoy, and thanks for stopping!

Fabulous!

Lookin' for my TCM post?  Click HERE or scroll on down!

Hey there!

Yes, back again...HAHA!  I take my baby's nap times seriously and blog!  I got to play with my new Mama Elephant stamps last night, and broke out the latest Hello set.  For my inspiration, I used the Runway Inspired Challenge #32, as well as the Moxie Fab World's Speech Bubble Challenge.

So for this card, I went SUPER simple.  Taking a panel of white cardstock, and a hot pink Copic, I swiped it across the front.  After stamping and cutting out the speech bubble, I adhered it with a foam square.

The last accent I took from the photo, was the glittery silver question mark.  I just couldn't seem to incorporate that in to my design for a look I liked, so I just created some dots with Silver Stickles.

Here is a look at the inspiration pic:

Thanks for poppin' by!

The Craft's Meow Release Previews: Sweet Silhouettes

Happy hump day!

I am here again to share more TCM stamps, yeah!  Today's set, Sweet Silhouettes, is a 4x4 set designed by NinaB Designs and also the free gift this month when you spend $50 or more in the store.

My project today, features the male and female silhouette images, to which I stamped in black onto a white card base.  I then took an embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts called Floral, and did my own version of letterpress, inking up the raised portion of the folder and running my paper through.  I adhered it to my card base, on top of a black panel and a cut out banner with sentiment along with some pearls.  As a finishing touch, I colored the rose in her hair!

Well, that's it for me today!  Please wander on over to the Blog to see what the other designers created with this set, and also leave a comment there, by 8pm EST tonight for a chance to win it!

Moxie Fab World: Chevron Challenge

For my TCM preview post click HERE or scroll down

Hello, hello!

I am popping in again, to share a little Chevron love, using Cath's challenge at The Moxie Fab World.  So, my craft desk is pretty messy, and I have a stack of Mama Elephant stamps sitting on the corner...I dug in to that pile and used three sets for my clean and simple card.

I started by masking off a large portion of the card and stamped the zigzag pattern from Modern Borders in light blue.  I removed the masks and stamped the branch image from Rustic Spring and added the bird with foam.  Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from Nursery Deco and added an epoxy dot.

Thanks for taking a peek!  I will leave you with some baby love.  Have a great day!

The Craft's Meow Release Previews: Sweet Birthday

Hey!

It's day two of The Craft's Meow previews for March and I have a really sweet set to showcase illustrated by Mabelle R-O.  This set is very versatile, with fun birthday images and sentiments to use on many different projects.

I must have spring on the brain, because all I saw were those flowers.  To create the thick yellow stripes (inspired by one of my sons onesies), I took a stamp from Holiday Foundations and inked the back, stamping down my card front in alternating colors.  Before that however, I masked the center with a circle, and after stamping the stripes, stamped the floral image and colored it in with Copics.  I then finished the card off with pearls and a sentiment.

We hope you are enjoying the birthday inspiration!  Be sure to leave a comment by 8 pm EST, over at TCM for a chance to win this set, two lucky winners will be chosen!
