The Craft's Meow Release Blog Hop

Welcome!  I am so glad you could join me for The Craft's Meow November stamp release blog hop!  If you are participating in the hop, you should have arrived from Lin's blog, if not go here for all of the details.

For my card today, I combined a sentiment from Zoom Goes My Heart and Beautiful Shelf.  Using a blue card base, I impressed it with Lifestyle Craft's Sequence Embossing Folder (enter NOTETOSELF at checkout for 20% off).  I then heat embossed my sentiment with white powder.

To finish it off, I added two strips of white cardstock, along with the half doily image from Beautiful Shelf, some buttons and twine.

I hope you've enjoyed the previews and today's blog hop.  Be sure to make your way to Mabelle R-O's blog!  Have a great day!

The Craft's Meow Release Preview- Zoom Goes My Heart

Welcome!

The Crafts Meow previews are winding down and I have two cards to show you today using a new set by Karen Baker called Zoom Goes My Heart.  Oh, Karen...you know how to do it!  This set is one fun original!  Oh, be sure to leave a comment on the TCM blog for a chance to win it!

To start with my first card, I focused on the sentiment.  I took a strip of white cardstock and ran it through with the Lifestyle Craft's Zigzag Embossing Folder, die cutting a heart out of the side for my sentiment.  I then adhered it to my card base with foam.

I added red cardstock strips to the top and bottom of the impressed panel, and a die cut heart and some rhinestones to finish it off.

For the next card, I stamped the gas gauge image twice and stamped my sentiment over it on a white cardstock panel.  I also added a bit of MME patterned paper to the side of the base.

I then stamped a few hearts and added a rhinestone, popping it up onto a white card base.  A super simple card!

I hope you've enjoyed the previews this week.  Stay tuned, tomorrow is our blog hop and you don't want to miss it!  You could win all six sets by commenting on the DT blogs.

The Craft's Meow Release Preview- Valentine Wishes

Hello!  I hope you are well!  This week The Craft's Meow design team will be showcasing some fun new stamps being added to the store for the month of November!  Today's set, Valentine Wishes, is a cutie.

On my first card, I took a pink card base, and stamped the heart images in three pink colors.  Please excuse the blue tint, ugh!

I then stamped more hearts onto a white panel, along with my sentiment, added some Frosted Lace Stickles and a few black pears.

For my next card, I die cut a heart from typing paper and placed the negative piece over my white card base, stamping hearts at random.  I then removed the paper and stamped my sentiment.

Lastly, I added a couple of strips of pink cardstock, as well as a rhinestone.

RCC74 Fall Spirit

Hello there!  I am so sorry for the long absences between posts!  Life gets so busy sometimes, and I just haven't been making much stuff lately.  Maybe you can relate?  Well, for today, I have a little card using the November challenge over at The Ribbon Carousel Blog, to make a Thanksgiving/Fall card.

To start, I took the Linear Embossing Folder from Lifestyle Crafts and impressed a cream card front.  I then die cut leaves, also from LC, and stamped them in Versamark using Hero Arts Lear and Floral background stamp.  I tied some twine around two of the leaves and adhered them with foam tape.

I then stamped my sentiment from The Craft's Meow's Golden Days set in brown ink, cut the cardstock into a banner shape and adhered some HA pearls.

I hope you decide to play along with us!  We would love to see what you make, and there is a lovely prize involved of course, a Ribbon Carousel!!

Also, Lifestyle Crafts will give you 20% off your next order when you enter NOTETOSELF at checkout! Now is a great time to check things out over there because they are celebrating some great news and are sharing their excitement with a free shipping offer.

Very Merry Christmas

Hello, hello!  Today, I am lucky enough to be showcasing a fabulous new Christmas set being released from Avocado Arts this month.  Yeah!  As many of you know, I am expecting baby number two in late December, and well...I want these Christmas cards done, so I won't have to worry about them later!  Unfortunately, my best plans to crank out as many as I can are not becoming a reality.  Go figure.  So my friend, you get one card today!

To start, I stamped the solid tree image three times in various shades of green ink.  Instead of red, I opted for pink, and added those cardstock strips across the front of the card.

Lastly, I over-stamped my sentiment and added a threaded button.

That is all for me today, I hope you enjoyed.  Be sure to check out the Avocado Arts Design team, and their fabulous creations using this set!  I hope to be back with more craftyness soon.
