The Craft's Meow Release Blog Hop

Howdy friend!  I am so glad you wandered my way!  As you are probably aware from this weeks posts, The Craft's Meow has six new stamp sets available for purchase in the store as of now!  We are celebrating with a fun blog hop today, where, by leaving comments on each designers blog, you up your chances to win all six sets!  So, you should have arrived from Lin Brandyberry's blog, if not go to TCM blog for a complete list and all the details.

For my projects today, I chose one of my fav sets, Holiday Foundations, by Karen Baker.  I also paired it with Mabelle R-O's Christmas Cheer set.  For the first card, I started with an aqua base and stamped the snowflake border stamp across the front with versamark ink.

I then die cut the Frightful Edges die from Lifestyle Crafts, to look like melting snow, and then glittered the edge with Mica Flakes (this is as close to glitter as I get folks).

Lastly, I stamped the bird, cut it out and paper-pieced the leaf, adding red rhinestones as berries.  I then stamped my sentiment repeatedly in black ink.

For my next card, I used the same combination of sets.  Starting with the multi-line image in Holiday Foundations, I stamped at a diagonal on the left side of the card base, adding the solid image in a darker green after I had stamped my sentiment.  The crooked bottom portion, is again, testament to my late hour crafting, lol!

I then stamped and cut out the ornaments from Christmas Cheer, popping those up after tying around my twine bow.

I hope you were inspired this week by the projects you've seen!  Head on over to Mabelle R-O's inspiring blog to see more fabulousness with these sets (available here) and leave her some love.  Thank you for visiting!!

The Craft's Meow Release Previews: Holiday Foundations and O Christmas Tree

Hey!  Today I have the last of my projects featuring the October release from The Craft's Meow.  I hope you've been enjoying them.  Shall we begin?  Great!

For my first project, I used Holiday Foundations by Karen Baker, a follow-up to Retro Foundations.  This one stole my heart, and you will be seeing it again, that I promise!  To start, I took a cream panel and stamped one of the background images at the base.  I then stamped the fabulously large sentiment in the center and an accompanying sub sentiment in green.

To finish it off, I popped it up onto a red card base with foam and added a couple of leaf punches and some Copic colored accents as berries.  Please forgive my wonky stamping, lol!  It was a late crafty session when I made it!

For the next card featuring Holiday Foundations, I began with a Kraft panel, repeatedly stamped the diamond strip in pink pigment ink, and heat set it with clear powder.  I then stamped the solid stripe in green, and my sentiment in brown.

To finish it off, I tied around some twine and adhered the panel to a lime card base with foam.

The last set today, is designed by Aimes Wanford!  This set, called O Christmas Tree, is one you will want to keep on hand for your Christmas card making needs!  LOVE IT!  It is also the free gift with a $50.00 purchase.

I broke out some pink cardstock, and ran it through my Big Shot with Lifestyle Craft's Linear Embossing Folder.  I then took a white panel, stamped my trees in two different blue inks and popped one of the trees up.

To finish it off, after stamping the sentiment, I backed it onto hot pink cardstock, adding a billion rhinestones (cause I {heart} them), and popped that up onto my card front.

For my last card, I decided to use the trees in an unconventional way.  Using two different green inks, I alternated the image onto a cream panel.  I then added a strip of green cardstock and stamped my sentiment.

Lastly, I added some pink pearls and popped it up onto a soft pink card base.

Well, there you have it, all six sets...and they will be available TOMORROW!  Wahoo!  Now, head on over to TCM blog and enter to win some stampy goodness.

The Craft's Meow Release Previews: Winter Fibi & Lilly and Christmas Cheer

Day two of The Craft's Meow's October previews brings two super fun stamp sets to the store!  Both are super fabulous, shall we begin?

The first set, Christmas Cheer, designed by Mabelle R-O, is oh-so whimsical.  I heart it!  I stamped the frame repeatedly down the center of a white card base, setting the middle frame apart by flipping it and stamping it in red ink.

I then stamped my sentiment, and added some smooth pearls I colored green with a Copic marker.

The next card using Christmas Cheer involves the cutie little snowman and snowflake image.  I stamped the snowflakes in three different blue inks.

I then stamped my snowman, and paper-pieced his nose and scarf.  I then added black pearls for his coal buttons.  Lastly, I stamped my sentiment.

For the next set, another from Mabelle R-O, is called Winter Fibi and Lily.  Taking a white panel, I stamped the angel cat and did a simple Copic outline on the inside of the image.

I then stamped my sentiment and popped the panel up on a gold card base.

For my last card, I went with a winter theme, using the Winter Cheer sentiment.  I took a white panel and die cut three snowflakes from Lifestyle Craft's Snowflakes die collection.  I then die cut them again in two different blue cardstocks and inset them where my negatives were.

I then stamped my sentiment and added some blue rhinestones.

That is all for me today, thanks sooo much for hanging in there with me!  Now, go leave that comment over at The Craft's Meow Blog for a chance to win one of these sets, and I will be back tomorrow with the last two sets being released this month!

The Craft's Meow Release Previews: Christmas Angel & Hearth and Home

Hello friend!  I am excited to be back this week, because it is the first day of previews for some fabulous stamp sets being released from The Craft's Meow for the month of October!  The stamps this month are awesome and are going to get a lot of mileage from me this Christmas that's for sure!

Our first set, Christmas Angel, is a lovely set designed by NinaB Designs.  I started by stamping the Angel in Sahara Sand and followed it with my sentiment in Red Brick.

I rounded the corners of my panel and adhered it to a Peppermint Bazzill Card Shoppe base.

The next set for today, is called Hearth and Home by Elizabeta Kushner.  For my first card. I paper-pieced the ornament image from yellow and red cardstock, matted it onto more red cardstock and again onto dark green.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and added a big rhinestone.

For my last project, using the same set, I started with a simple white panel, and again, paper-pieced the holly leaves from patterned paper.  I then added pearls for the berries, which I colored over with an R24 Copic.

To finish it off, I adhered a block of patterned paper to a Kraft card base and mounted my focal point onto it with foam adhesive.

That is all for today.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for two more sets previews!  Now, wander on over to TCM blog and leave a comment for a chance to win one of these sets.

Lastly, I adhered some twine (which you can find in the store), stamped my sentiment and added a black button before adhering my panel to an orange card base using foam adhesive.

Happy Anniversary

Hello!  Today, I have a card to share using Lifestyle Crafts Branch and Berries dies.  I chose to use the die for an anniversary card.

To start, I die cut the branch from Peanut Cluster cardstock from Bazzill, and the berries from a melon cardstock. I then adhered the berries to the branch.  Slightly time consuming, but worth it.

I stamped my sentiment in Hero Arts Cup O' Joe mid tone ink, using The Craft's Meow's Lovely Ovals set.  The I rounded the top corner and adhered a pearl.
