The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak Baggin' Some Rays!

Well we are at the last day of sneak peaks for The Craft's Meow!  Are you ready for this sunny wonder?  I hope so.  Now, put your shades on cause this one is bright!

Starting with a white panel, I stamped half of the sun images across the top and bottom of the panel and mounted it onto Raspberry Fizz cardstock.

Stamped the sun image again in Versmark ink and heat embossed it with white EP, cut it out and adhered it with foam.  I also stamped my sentiment and heat embossed it with white on Raspberry Fizz card stock.  Lastly, I threaded some coordinating buttons and adhered those.

Well, I hope you were inspired today!  Thanks for hopping by and leaving a comment (which could win you this set).  Be sure to check out the other DT members projects too!

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak It's A Banner Day

Hello!  Welcome to the third day of The Craft's Meow Sneak peaks of the July Release.  Are you getting excited yet, are you leaving those comments (you could win stamps)?!  It's A Banner Day is a fun little set that coordinates with Spellbinders Banner Dies.  I don't have the dies, but that shouldn't stop you from making really cute things with this set!

Starting with a white card base, I stamped my banner image (curving it on my block).  I stamped each banner onto a colored piece of card stock, cut them out and popped them up onto my card front.  Added some baker's twine, a black rhinestones, and a star punch.

Using the fun alphas included in the set, I spelled out my sentiment, "GR8 JOB" and stamped it in black.  Easy, and super simple!

Be sure to check out the rest of the team members and leave comments for your chance to win!

The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak Life Is A Carnival

Howdy!  Welcome to day two of the latest sneak peaks for The Craft's Meow!  Today's project is using a fabulous carnival set!  This set is a big one and you get a lot of stamps for your buck!  Check out this simple number using the cute little ice cream cone image and sentiment.

Starting with a white card stock panel, I stamped the ice cream cone image repeatedly and paper-pieced it in with fun papers from Echo Park's Dots & Stripes 6x6 pad.  Colored the cone base with Copic Markers and added a little gem to the tops of each cone.  Matted the panel onto more pattered paper and then onto my card base.

Lastly, I selectively inked my sentiment with brown and pink ink and added some more bling.

I hope you enjoyed today's little peek, be sure to stop by my fellow DT members and leave some love, you might win this set!  Check back tomorrow for a banner waving good time {wink}!

Hello and welcome to the first sneak peak of the July release for The Craft's Meow!  I am so excited to share these projects with you because these stamps are so fantastic!  So let's get to it.

To start, I stamped the flower-birdhouse image multiple times to create a scene and colored it in with Copic Markers.

Stamped one of the cute little birds and colored it, along with on of the sweet sentiments from the set.

Lastly, I tied some satin ribbon around the card and called it good.  Super simple to create!

Birthday Fishes

Hello my sweet blog friends!  Sorry for the lack of posts this week.  I am currently in Kentucky camping with my little family, so this is a scheduled post.  This is a bittersweet one to write because it is my last card as a Card Patterns Designer.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Michelle, Tracy and Nina and the rest of the team these last six months and will miss it tremendously.  Thank you ladies for having me, it has been such an honor!  Okay, on to today's card.  Our sponsor this week is Whimsy Doodles and I chose to play with the little Fish image.

Starting by printing it onto white card stock, coloring them in and distressing the panel, I popped one of the fish up with foam.

Covered the card front with Cosmo Cricket Salt Air papers.

Lastly, I added a bit of ribbon, some threaded buttons and a vellum scallop circle.

I hope you play along and thank you so much for stopping by!  I can't wait to catch up with all of your blogs when I return.

A Happy Hello

Hi there!  Today is Card Patterns day!  A fabulous new sketch is up for you to play with!  DRS is our wonderful sponsor this week so be sure to play along, you might win some goodies.  Here is my take using this lovely string of flowers called Flower Border.

Starting with some papers from My Mind's Eye Gertie collection, I adhered one panel to a white card base, along with its coordinating side on the top portion of the card.  I printed my flowers, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out.  Adhered it with foam adhesive on top of a cut paper doily and added some rhinestones.

Tied on White satin ribbon from Offray...

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Sending You (PTI) in brown ink and notched the ends.  Punched out a few hearts and popped them up with some foam.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and you decide to play along this week.  Have a great weekend my friend!

Color Blocked Father's Day Card

Happy Friday my friend!  So excited for today and this weekend because I will be attending Stamping Around tonight and all day Saturday!  5 classes of stamping and inky goodness, I can't wait!!  Because of this glorious event (and my eagerness) I have packed all of my essentials to go!  So what to do when I want to play at CAS-ual Fridays?!  Go CAS of course!  Now, I am totally last minute and still need a father's day card...enter the color block challenge and lack of tools and you get this card!

Using Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado and Ocean Tides card stock blocks, I adhered them together and secured them to a Kraft card base.  Ruffled up the ends and secured a matching OT button.

Die cut a frame and stamped my sentiment. along with a leaf and adhered it under a score line and twine.  For visual balance I added two DC buttons.

Well, that is all for me today, I have my Card Patterns post scheduled for tomorrow, as I will be gone, so be sure to stop back to check it out!  Have a great day!

Gloomies...

Well, I don't have them, but I am ready when someone does.  This little card was inspired by the latest Tuesday Trigger, Rainbow Bright!  I love rainbow colors and have been wanted to put them on a card.  Here is where it lead me.

Starting with a white panel, I stamped my polka dots starting with the red strip first and worked my way to the edges.

Scored three lines and added my sentiment in Latte Chalk ink.

Threaded three Fine Linen buttons to mimic the look of the wood spools.

Lastly, I rounded the top corners and added some Fine Linen grosgrain ribbon, popping the panel up with foam on a white card base.

Here is a look at the inspirational pic:

That's it for me, I hope you have a great day!

Happy Father's Day

Hello!  I have a card to share today using Embellish background stamping challenge!  The colors screamed masculine to me and I needed to make a Father's Day card, here is what I came up with:

Starting with a kraft card base, I stamped my polka dot background in Terracotta Tile ink and adhered a bit of New Leaf grosgrain ribbon down the front.

Die cut a circle from Terracotta Tile card stock and popped it up.  Stamped a sailboat image in Hawaiian Shores ink, cut it out and adhered it with foam.  Finished it off with a few Hawaiian Shores buttons.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in green ink!

Here is a look at the color swatch:

Flying House Congrats

Happy Sunday friend!  I have yet another Gallery Idol entry to share with you using a fun technique I saw Belinda use in a recent Paper Crafts mag and I saved a pic of a fabulous card with this same idea on it although I don't know who made it.  So of course I had to try it!

Started by die cutting my clouds with a cloud die and adhering the panel to an Aqua Mist card base.

Stamped my house, cut it out and adhered it with green bakers twine and various buttons to look like balloons.

Stamped the tree image from The Craft's Meow's Sending You Sunshine set and colored them with Copic Markers.  Stamped my sentiment from Enjoy the Ride (PTI) and popped it up, adding a bit of bling around and about.

Now, if only I knew someone moving into a house right now...haha!  Onto the pile it goes!  Have a fabulous day!

Best Wishes

Hey my friend!  Today I have a little Card Patterns goodness to share with you.  I can't believe my time with them is almost up...two more sketches left, so sad!  Our awesome sponsor is SRM Stickers and well, need I say more?  They are awesome!  Here is my take on this weeks fabulous sketch.

Starting with a Melon card base, I adhered some fun glittery patterned paper from S.E.I's Happy Day collection.

Adhered some coordinating card stock strips, one punched with a Fiskars punch and added some lace trim.
Die cut a Spellbinders Blossom shape and added a bit of embossing to it with a Small Circles Nestie, followed by my sticker.

Using Antique Engravings, I colored and cut out two butterflies and adhered them with foam, and added a bit of glimmer with a Spica pen.

Be sure to check out the Card Pattern blog for more inspiration, and I hope you play along!  Have a great day and as always, thank you for stopping by!

Congratulations

Hey there friend!  I love Fridays, how bout you?  One fabulous perk to Friday is a new challenge up at CAS-ual Fridays!  Love this weeks challenge, because you get to pick!  I choose the row with buttons, Flowers, and twine.  Love all of these!  So here is what I came up with.

Starting by die cutting a scallop strip and stamping it with a woodgrain stamp, adhered a melon card stock strip over it.

Adhered a twine bow and a Maya Road fabric flower on top of it.  Added a few matching buttons.

Stamped a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler by Paper Smooches (love this set!) and popped it up with foam.

I do believe this would be a fitting entry to the Gallery Idol competition, don't you?  Because of the voting factor, I don't hold out much hope, but it is fun to dream!

Here is the CAS-ual Friday graphic:

Have a great day my friend, I shall be back tomorrow with a great new sketch from Card Patterns!

It's A Celebration

Hiya!  It's a hot one here today, how bout you?  My sister's in-laws have a fabulous pool and we plan on taking full advantage of it today!  Can't wait!  So for my little project today, I used the latest Tuesday Trigger: Cosmopolitan Neapolitan.  I was inspired by that fabulous color combo, white, pink and brown.  Here is what I came up with:

Using BasicGrey's Life of the Party rub-ons, I adhered both present images and a threaded BG pink button.

Stamped my sentiment from Birthday Bash Sentiments (PTI) and added a cutie little rub-on heart.  Finished by rounding the bottom corners.

Here is the inspirational pic: YUM!

I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!  Thank you for stopping by!
