Hey there friend! Thanks for stopping by today. I have a card to share today using Cardabilities latest sketch #26. I did a pretty loose interpretation letting my patterned paper do the work for me! I hope you give the sketch a try! Also, so excited that I am a guest designer over at Skipping Stones Design this month! I just love their stamps and hope you will stop by the blog for fun sketches and inspiration!
Started with Sweet Blush cardstock, layered my patterned paper onto Vintage cream. I shabbied the edges with a bit of distress ink in Stormy Sky.
Before I adhered the panel, I put some lace trim and gingham ribbon onto the panel.
Lastly, I threaded some bright pink buttons on some twine and adhered those with glue dots, stamped my sentiment in black and added a rhinestone.
Thanks again for coming by! Have a great day!
Lindsay

Tied on some Vintage Cream Satin Ribbon, Lemon Tart button and some twine. Lastly I stuck in some stick pins from My Little Yellow Bicycle.

Floral Birthday Notecard set & Bag
Hey there! Thanks for dropping in today! To me there is nothing better than using my love for papercrafting to bless my friends and family with cards and gifts. We celebrated my sister's birthday yesterday and I was so excited to give her the gift that I made...a notecard set! I love making these because they are really inexpensive and they mean a lot to the recipient.
I started with white cardstock and cut them all down to a standard size card. I stamped them with flowers in multiple colors and various sentiments.
I stamped my flowers in the lighter shade and then rolled the edges around into a darker color, stamped. Very easy and they didn't take that long to do.
Added some green rhinestones to the middle of the flowers to give it a little dimension.
Now, you can't have a fun notecard set in a plain ol' bag! So, I stamped the same design onto my white gift bag and added some coordinating colored twill tape and twine to the handle.
She loved it, and that makes me happy indeed! I hope you have a fabulous day my friend!

Supplies used:
Paper: White Papertrey Ink

Floral You're So Special
Hello friend! First off, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind and encouraging words about the Spellbinders Contest. They made me feel uplifted and loved. Thank you!
For today I wanted to pop in here and share a card I made using the super fun Tuesday Trigger Cath has up over at the Moxie Fab World blog! I was able to get a few new Hero Arts stamps yesterday and knew that that flower was perfect for HA new stamp set, Layered Flowers.
I heat embossed my floral images with white embossing powder, added a little shading with Copic markers, cut them out and adhered them to my card front.
I stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock, cut it out and popped it up with foam.
Lastly, I added a little bling to the middle of the flowers! I hope you've enjoyed my little card today. Have a fantastic day!

So, without further ado...

Happy Friday to you friend! I wanted to share a little card I made using Tea For Two & Additions by Papertrey Ink. I am terrible about using purple, so I considered it a personal challenge to make something with it. Here it is:
Started with with the mat stack 4 die cut in True Black, scored a white panel in a diamond pattern. Tied on a bit of Plum Pudding Grosgrain ribbon and attached with dimensional adhesive.
Die cut and stamped my tea cup and tea pot in Eggplant ink, along with a little lemon wedge (kinda looks like an orange) cut out and put on the cup.
Finished it off with a get well sentiment!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend my friend! Be sure to stop over at Card Patterns tomorrow as we kick off our birthday celebration!

Love You Forever
Hi again friend! I was going to take some time off posting but I wanted to post the card I made for my hubby for St. Valentine's day. I just love that man, he is patient, kind and a wonderful provider. So blessed to have him for my husband.
I started with a piece of white cardstock, added distress ink, text, hearts and distressed the edges. Mounted it onto Kraft cardstock.
I border punched red and cream cardstock, heat embossed my sentiment.
Die cut a kraft heart, stamped a heart in Fresh Snow ink, and another heart in Pure Poppy, then tied twine around it and adhered it onto my card.
Well, that is all for today! I hope to catch up on some challenges, but I fear my neck might not allow it! We shall see. Have a great day!
