Hey there! I finally got a chance to make a card this week using Laura's sketch over at
2Sketches4You. I flipped the sketch upside down and had a ball with this card layering lace and buttons and that sweet lil' vintage image! I didn't have any Halloween stamps, so I opted for the fall sentiment. It has been awhile since I played in
The Shabby Tea Room, so I hope this qualifies! Now, If you had asked me to make a vintage card 6 months ago, I probably would have laughed at you and broke into a cold sweat, but right now...I adore making them! It is amazing what you can accomplish if you stick with it! So, onto my card!
I used a sweet little girl on a pumkin image from this
site, along with a tattered angels frame that I heat embossed with black powder, stamped my sentiment in True Black ink using
Wreath For All Seasons by Papertrey Ink.
I took a scrap of lace trim and spritzed some Tattered Angels glimmer mist on it, threaded some Papertrey Vintage Buttons with twine.and adhered them with glue dots.
Now, you didn't think I forgot about my
giveaway did you? Using Random.org, my winner is: #14
