Many Thanks

Hey there!  I could not seem to sqeeze a card in for the life of me!  Yesterday I went thrift shopping with my parents (my dad is retired) and found so many great treasures!  I wish I had time to share!  For now though I thought I would share the card I made for my mom and dad using my new Waltzingmouse Stamps!  I went with a color combo I know my mom loves and who can resist these delightful cupcakes?!  Dig in!

I started by stamping the rectangular frame in black ink on a white card base, masking it off and then stamping polka dots from Polka Dot Basics by Papertrey Ink.  I then stamped my cupcakes in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them in with Copic Markers.

I also made a little trip to my local craft store and picked up a large multi-colored pack of Flock!  I was a little intimidated by it at first, but after watching a few YouTube videos was a little more at ease.  I love the look of those cutie cupcakes!  Love how this turned out.  Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a good one!

Joy

Howdy friend!  I  made up a Christmas card for you today with a new stamp I bought last night at Archiver's.  My hubby is alway so sweet, he takes the kiddo on errands while I shop.  I am the luckiest woman, I tell ya!  Well, I bought a new sheet of Prima Rhinestone flourishes, a fun Unity Itty Bitty stamp and some Prima flowers.  I was going to get the tattered angels glimmer mist pack, but didn't have a coupon!  I used all of those items on my card here.

I started with the Waiting For Santa collection from Webster's Pages, inking the edges and adhering it down.

I spritzed the flower with a pink (can't remember the name) and scarlet and topped it off with a big rhinestone brad from American Crafts.  I bought this twill tape at my local fabric store and shabbied it up with some distress ink.  I adore twill tape!

I stamped the image in Pure Poppy and cut it out, inked the edges, and popped it up on foam dimensionals/

Snipped off a lovely crystal flourish and layed it over the image.

Well, that is all for me today, I hope you enjoyed!  Have an awesome day!

Good evening!  I just wanted to pop in and share my card using the latest Waltzingmouse Sketch.  I love these papers from Webster's Pages!  I tried to glitter my Tattered Angels Frame and didn't get very good coverage...any tips?

I hate to post and run but I have to enjoy the last little bit of this weekend.  I hate to see it end!  I hope you have a good one!

Hey there friend!  Thanks for hanging in there with me!  I survived babysitting yesterday, my little niece is and was a complete peach!  So I am back to making my Christmas cards and I think I am almost done!  WAHOOO!  This will be the first time that I have my cards done BEFORE thanksgiving.  What a relief.  For my card today I used the newest Cardpatterns Sketch and went simple with it.  I got some new goodies in the mail and thought I would use them for my card!  Well, we are getting ready to go to a bonfire/dinner/fun night out at our church camp and so I must get a move-on.  Thank you so much for dropping in!

Christmas Greetings Tag

Happy almost-Friday to you friend!  This week has just dragged for me, and it's still not over by a long shot!  Thursdays are my hectic day and then tomorrow I watch my sister's 3 month old for 8 hours!  YIKES!  I hope I remember how...HAHA!  So, who knows if I will have something up for tomorrow as I always fly by the seat of my pants!  For today though, I have a tag created for the Waltzingmouse Tag You're It Challenge!  I love tags and I love Waltzingmouse, hey why not!  I am using the last of my precious stamped off images from Belinda and can't wait to place my order so that I can get my own!

I used the 6x6 Jovial paper pad by BasicGrey and layered on a bit of lace, a punch and some glitter.

I fussy cut one flower and added glitter and a rhinestone, and popped it up with dimensional adhesive.

I also added a little flourish piece to give it some sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check it out!  I hope you have a great day.

Let's Celebrate It's A Girl!

Hiya!  Another Monday, another card!  This time I have a card using CardPatterns Sketch 86.  There are so many sweet lil' babies being born lately, I am always in need of a card.  For this one I used the 6x6 Sweet Season by Webster's Pages and paired it with a combined sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Sophie's Sentiments.  I also snuck in a sweet cupcake from Papertrey's Cupcake Collection.

I found a bottle of glitter at a local discount store and sprinkled it on a strip of Scor-tape, love this look.  I also die cut the Mat stack 4 die and then used the fillable frames #7 to cut out the middle.  Attached a few rhinestones for more sparkle and used foam dimensionals to lift it a bit.

I spritzed the mini rose with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist and attached it to plum pudding grosgrain ribbon using Glossy Accents.  I hope you likey!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Have a goodie!

Love Always Wins

Hey!  Yesterday was such a gorgeous day and we ended up spending the entire day in Amish Country enjoying the rolling hills and beautiful farms along the way.  Oh and of course there was the shopping at the local thrift store, the Holmes Co. Rails to Trails bike/horse & buggy path and eating at a local greasy spoon!  We had a great day.  I did manage to sqeeze in a card, crazy I know!  I used the latest Waltzingmouse Sketch for my card and quite frankly had a ball stepping out of my comfort zone trying to piece this together.

I used Papertrey Ink's Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush and Hibiscus Burst, stamped three different sizes of hearts from Martha Stewart Crafts in matching ink to create a tone-on-tone effect.  Applied a little Fresh Snow to the edges and wrapped FS sating ribbon around the front.

I also used my new Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards stamps, wasn't sure I would like these, but whoa!  They are fun!  I also splurged BIG time and cut a hugh crystal flourish from the sheet and stuck er' on.  I am trying hard not to hoard ya know {wink, wink}.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I appreciate your sweet comments!

Hello there!  Thanks for stopping by today!  So, I can't seem to stop using the rhinestone flourishes I got over the weekend!  I just realized they are on the last couple cards I have posted!  So sorry bout that.  I am sure you know how it is when you get new goodies you can't stop using them on EVERYTHING!  Hee hee.  For my card today I used Kazan's sketch at 2Sketches4You and more delicious Webster's Pages.  Take a look.

It was kind of nice getting out of Christmas mode and making something girly and pink!  I covered my card with paper from the Hollywood Vogue collection and adhered some ribbon trim on top.  Die cut my frame and matted it with a circle stamped with flowers from Papertrey Ink's Life set.  Added a little Martha Stewart Glitter and viola!

Autumn

Hi there!  Today is the 7th and that means a new challenge over at TiffanyDoodles!  Tiffany has been creating some very fun digis for fall which happens to be the theme of this months challenge!  All you need to do is create a fall themed card, link it up and you could win some of her fantastic images.

For this challenge I used the Fall Sentiment Freebie for my card.  I started by printing the sentiment onto white cardstock and layering patterned paper from Dream Street's Superstition collection.  I colored the leaf with various copic markers and add buttons threaded on twine.

Be sure to check out the other girls cards for more inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by today, I hope it's a great one!

Happy Fall & A Winner!

Hey there!  I finally got a chance to make a card this week using Laura's sketch over at 2Sketches4You.  I flipped the sketch upside down and had a ball with this card layering lace and buttons and that sweet lil' vintage image!  I didn't have any Halloween stamps, so I opted for the fall sentiment.  It has been awhile since I played in The Shabby Tea Room, so I hope this qualifies!  Now, If you had asked me to make a vintage card 6 months ago, I probably would have laughed at you and broke into a cold sweat, but right now...I adore making them!  It is amazing what you can accomplish if you stick with it!  So, onto my card!

I used a sweet little girl on a pumkin image from this site, along with a tattered angels frame that I heat embossed with black powder, stamped my sentiment in True Black ink using Wreath For All Seasons by Papertrey Ink.

I took a scrap of lace trim and spritzed some Tattered Angels glimmer mist on it, threaded some Papertrey Vintage Buttons with twine.and adhered them with glue dots.

Now, you didn't think I forgot about my giveaway did you?  Using Random.org, my winner is: #14

A Few Pics & A Card

******Don't forget to comment on my giveaway here!

Hello friend!  I hope your weekend was good!  We had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg, TN.  It is quite a drive (8+ hours) from where we live in Ohio, but so worth it.  It is right in the heart of the Great Smokey Mountains!  I snapped a few photos of our time there.  But before I get to those, I thought I would show you the card I made for my sweetie.

This is the view from the Ober Gatlinburg Arial Tramway...wow! is all I can say about the view, it is incredible!

We took the Motor Nature Trail in the mountains, walked through old farmsteads and passed trickling streams...

Me and my honey...love this man!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate you so much!  Have an awesome day!
